Sorry Hundmutter, that should have read home.

by Hundmutter on 19 August 2013 - 16:08
Oh, well 'home' was not underlined (or tinted) in the version
I can see, either, RS. What sort of stuff are the ads for ?

I don't know to be honest, I just clicked on it as I thought you had tagged it to another site, but as soon as I realized it was an ad, I closed out. It is no longer lit up, neither is 'home'. It has been doing that for a while, and I'm sure it is a bad case of spyware as I have none at the moment.
Thanks anyway, now I know it is on my end. :)

You must not click on things that you don't know are safe, when in doubt, resist the temptation.

how do you guys get high achievers??
massive bunglers on a grand scale - i guess that's an achievement for some.
if these these high achievers you speak of were kept on a shorter leash they may not have achieved the GFC, disappearing middle class, numeracy and literacy rates thru the floor, dysfunctional health-care, foreign policy that positions all US citizens as the most hated people on Earth and puts a target on the heads of every one of them that ventures from their own shores, school shootings, half the US not believing man landed on the moon and that the universe was created in 7 days from a thought, evolution is a dyng religion, the environment about to puke on itself and every living thing, world's richest nation that is trillions of dollars in debt......
high achievers, what am i missing?

Well, your whole theory goes off the deep end when you believe there was an obvious opportunity to "keep them on a shorter leash". High achievers are the leaders. They have figured out which end of the leash it was they wanted to be on, while you weren't looking or paying attention or maybe you were just busy brushing your teeth.
It doesn't mean they can't fall from that lofty spot they sought and caught. What goes up must come down. Now the descents, those are variable, for sure.
