I like the saying "It is the fox that sniffs behind him."

You could be far off Veronica because there are many studs dogs in Alabama so let that go. Anyway back to the topic of Olex. We'll save other subject and commentary for a respective post and/or email about them.

and "Thou Shall Not Brown-nose"

by AKVeronica60 on 22 January 2007 - 20:01

I would feel deceptive myself if I remained silent and did not defend that which was true and right. That applies to anyone who has treated me well. If you were not addressing the dog in Alabama from which I had a litter of six vigorous puppies out of a middle aged dog--then apparently we have no issues and nothing more needs to be said on either side. I am in Alaska. I would have to go nearly 5,000 miles to get any brown on my nose that defies the LCD commandment, LOL.

"SKI Since you seem to be more "informed" than some of us on Olex, do you know of any litters he has on the ground now?" Not more informed in that regards. Diane had posted the vet analysis and I have contacted the owner about possibilities down the road as i like the Nick line breeding. The next step would be to ask what he has been bred to (did the females produce as well before and size of litters, etc , not just the questions for the stud)and results of the most recent analysis. I was just surprised that people have not emailed or called the owner directly. Or the same for Wayne in regards to questions when he owned the dog.

LCD commandments. ROFL Right!!! Nice one Anyway we'll get to the state of Alabama when the time arises For now let's stick to Olex and pertinent information regarding him.

It appears that some of you need to go after the competition. Usually when people find it necessary to do this they have questions about their own product.

by LuvCzechDawgz on 22 January 2007 - 20:01

SKI Not sure about others but I was speaking from my direct contact experience with Olex's owner since July of 2006 in using him. I expressed interest in using him when I was first told he was here. I also expressed concerned in his production since time after time I was told he had several breedings yet I only got 1 said confirmed which was said the female lost the 2 or 3 pups (I forgot if it was 2 or 3) due to natural causes. Other than that, my next followup was in Oct/Nov regarding confirmed litters and at that time I was later told 1 female was in fact confirmed to it. The mentioned female was the same female "Diane" references above. That was my last contact with the owner. After that I heard the litter was only 1 pup so that brought questions again although I have little use for the information at this point. But people having concerns and questions before investing in a hefty stud fee, shipping fees, etc are valid questions

Spook not sure what you're talking about but again this isn't a "going out the competition" case (at least I don't think) I think Olex has produced exceptionally well. I also looked to use him so my questions concerning his fertility and production were of norm Anyone thinking this is an "attack" has something to hide

With the owner easily acessible by email, it appears suspect to broach the subject in this manner.
