Gabby, Excuse Me ?????
You don't want to meet the breeder of your pup, You don't want to meet the parents of a pup you just purchased and plan to have for a lifetime ?
You don't want to meet siblings, older generations, other purchasers ?????
You are someone I would never even consider selling to, for the reasons you stated,
If you don't raise the puppy to my expectations, Ummm Where have you been ?? Do you know how many dogs end up in backyards tethered under some tree with no house, no food, no water, no nothing !!!! I think a breeder that provides some provisions in they're contracts shows they're RESPONSIBILITY and commitment.
Limited registration is a good thing in the right places obviously it would be a good one for you, I don't think you have enough expeirience or knowledge to be spouting at me like that, Everything you said, completely contradicts with any responsible breeding program out there. I don't think because I don't ship that makes me shady or irresponsible, quite the opposite in my opinion and apparently many who frequent this board.
The fact that you would not want to come here shows your level of commitment, and makes me wonder how shady you are?
No ONE gets one of my babies unless I meet them first. just the way it is, and JUST MY OPINION.
Have a nice day.

You say: "You are someone I would never even consider selling to, for the reasons you stated"
Don't worry, After looking at your dogs on your website and your breeding practices I wouldn't even consider a dog from you.
I see no titles and dogs appear to be a mix of working/show and possibly American judging by the silly names but I could be wrong there.
I think your dogs are pretty damn ugly too. Nothing looks breed worthy and you are breeding with excuses under age dogs. You are no better than other BYB's here what a hypocrite.
I see a lot of hypocrites here and those who tend to bitch the loudest are usually the biggest ones telling others their unprofessional opionions.
You are the kind of person who makes those who try to do good by the breed here in the US a bad name. I think you should stick to dog catching!
I'll take my chances and purchase from someone who is overseas than to deal with the likes of you.
I may be young but I do my homework. I'll stick to the pros when it comes time to purchase my next dog.

Gabby, Please provide your link as well, so that we can see your beautiful dogs.
I don't care what you think, I know that I don't breed dogs without hip certs and without some type certs, bare minimum Obedience.
My dogs are ugly to you, sorry to hear that, But to each his own.
If you think that my practices are wrong, well then exactly what is it you feel is right ?
Shipping a dog to a complete stranger, not knowing for sure they will pick up the puppy from the airport ?
ARE YOU NUTS !!!

How cruel to say anyone's GSD are ugly.

Nuts I maybe but read your paragraph that says:
"I don't care what you think, I know that I don't breed dogs without hip certs and without some type certs, bare minimum Obedience."
Boy...Howdy Dootie obviously you don't "care" what anyone thinks as you only have the "bare" minimum of obedience on those dogs. Congrats on the BH at least you have something on one of your mixed lines.
As for me, I don't have a website. I'm too busy training what I have. I figure it will be at least another 5 years before I feel confident enough to breed my dogs "when they have their working titles at least." and proved "breed" worthiness.
In other words, I want my dogs all titled and they can offer something to the gene pool. NOT because they can get it on with each other and produce a passel of puppies...Gotta have a purpose.
At least that's what I have been told by some of the best breeders and trainers and I've met some pretty good ones.
Gonna go eats some nuts!

Gabby, You said a mouthful.
"As for me, I don't have a website. I'm too busy training what I have. I figure it will be at least another 5 years before I feel confident enough to breed my dogs "when they have their working titles at least." and proved "breed" worthiness."
"In other words, I want my dogs all titled and they can offer something to the gene pool. NOT because they can get it on with each other and produce a passel of puppies...Gotta have a purpose."
You'll probably need to explain the term 'breed worthiness' to some of the participants.
You sound like someone I'd be interested in buying from.
By the way this is America; we have the right to throw any two mongrels into a pen and sell the by-product under any catchy phrase we can dream up.

Gabby, You know what that's Good !! and I mean that, in a place where you can train more than once a week, I'm sure those titles you are seeking will be a reachable goal, here our club is small we get to train once to twice per week with the club, Then we have kids in 4-H, and we offer obeidience help to other people in the community for the shelter dogs they adopt or dogs they have taken on. We try to train at home a couple times per week as well, But with 3 kids, and hubby and I both working avg. of 60+ hours per week, It gets tough. No I'm not making excuses just giving you the reality of our situation here.
I can say, I think your doing a great thing, for me Titles on all dogs before bred would be very impossible not that I would not want to, of course I do. However it's just not a reality given our location. Sorry if that bothers you, But it's just the way it is.
But hey good job ! I think you will be an asset to the breed. At least I'm confident enough to admit that.
My dogs have alot to offer the breed, They have some of the best temperaments ever seen in the breed, Our training directors love them, purchasers who are in Sch. have received high praise of our dogs, So I know what they have to offer and what anyone else "thinks" they know is they're loss for not knowing the truth, Oh BTW, Can you actually read pedigree's ?? There is no AM dogs in my dogs.
by Gabby on 04 January 2007 - 01:01
I work and go to school too FULL Time.
I don't think that's a good enough excuse for no titles on your dogs. Don't breed them until they have their titles.
NO EXCUSE
If you notice, I said I wasn't sure about the AM lines as they have some names that aren't familiar to me and I didn't call them such the names sounded more like some AMBRED cutsie name.. I just wondered out loud and made that clear in my statement.
As for breedings, I just can't believe we need that many puppies around. Not just you either as I see way too many puppies being born to even titled parents and wonder where are all these puppies going?
I'm sorry I called your dogs ugly. That was a low blow and uncalled for. MY-Bad for doing so.
