Think what you want .. if you have something better chime in!!  I put up two free links and forewarned the last one was not free.  I have found nothing free about raising dogs or dog training and the most expensive advice is bad advice that I received for free.  If you haven't heard it you couldn't possibly know anything about the content of the presentation which is excellent and if you had you wouldn't be writing a stupid remark.  Half the people on the forum sell dogs so I don't feel bad about recommending something Prodigy asked for advice on.

Hello everyone,

I appreciate anyone who posts an answer to my questions in regards to training. I think the advice I have received both publicly and privately has been very helpful and it is appreciated greatly. I am excited about trying the various methods to see what best works for me. Any comments not related to my post or ones that are not being helpful are a waste of everyone's time. IMO. I seriously want to concentrate on my pups and their future and the constructive help to help get me there. I have bought books from caninetrainingsystems as well as training items and collars from them as well as Leerburg and do plan on buying some DVD's as well as visiting some clubs to see what it is like and get a feel for them. Although honestly I probably won't go to clubs much unless I see it is useful otherwise some seminars might be in order even if I have to travel a little. I am very opened minded to any constructive help for my future pups and I really want to concentrate on work as opposed to show.

I will show them but first and foremost I am most interested in their ability to work such as in schutzhund. I have researched and really like the tracking as well as protection side in addition to competitive obedience. My real interest lies in the workability. I want a tough pup I can title in schutzhund and simply do not want to be a limit or hindrance on the dog. That is why I said earlier if it is in the best interest of the pup or dog eventually for me to step aside and let someone with more experience pickup where I left off (if I do) as far as training to bring out her full potential I will do it otherwise I will try on my own. I would not leave her with anyone I didn't know and trust or that had a less than stellar reputation.

I am in the DFW (Dallas Ft Worth Texas) area and heard of a couple of people that I may call as they have an honest reputation but I do not know of any clubs other than one which I believe is about 45 minutes each way for me to drive. Lastly, I waited a long time to  get these pups and I have the time and money along with my 19 year old son to dedicate to these pups to ensure they will be the best they can be and hopefully we will be a positive for them in that regard:)

Thank you again to everyone who has tried to help. I really do appreciate it:)
