I have been one of those who was skeptical of the claims by the pro 2nd Amendment group who said it was to guard against governmental tyranny.  I felt that the fire-power the government possesses was of a magnitude that it would quickly overcome fighting against such purported tyranny.

The one thing that the man-hunt for this former cop demonstrates is that a well-armed, highly trained and motivated individual can create chaos within law enforcement. The LAPD and other law enforcement at federal, state and local levels have all been mobilized against this one man. Just imagine the resources that would be required to deal with several hundred or several thousand people with the same skill set and motivation who were well armed. 

I am not arguing for or against those who are concerned with any potential tyranny or conspiracy theories ....... but the potential for havoc if enough people were to take the law into their own hands is substantial. For the LAPD to have shot two women delivering newspapers who just happened to be in a blue truck ..... not even the same make as the one that was being used by the suspect .... seems to reflect either a degree of incompetence or outright panic and fear of this individual and his capacity to inflict casualties.

His charges and claims in his manifesto do seem to ring true despite the attempts by LE to dismiss them as the rantings of an unbalanced individual. Irrespective of what transpires, I suspect the officer who was the catalyst for his rampage, (Teresa Evans) will more than likely see her career with the LAPD come to an end.

This guy has more sightings than Elvis.

I am wondering if he is even in those mountains. Last (I think) credible dispatch was he's in San Diego.

First, he left A bag with identification (his police badge) at an airport, next he unsuccessfully (?) attempts to take a boat from a marina letting someone know that he is going to Mexico, then he ditches and burns his truck up at Big Bear. He seems to be making them cast their nets in many directions on purpose. I guess this is where his taste in comedians comes into play.

People are calling in left and right with a sighting from all over the country. This guy has hundreds of supporters on multiple FaceBook Fan Pages.

Why don't those corrupted cops just admit they lied about him .. gezzz. Before this turns into one big recruit act against the police !!!

Right. A big call  to grab a gun and start shooting because his name was damaged. 

OK, well, maybe going on a shooting rampage will do a little damage to one's name, too. I'm just thinking that is a distinct possibility. I'm sure his manifesto will inspire no normal thinking LEO to join in with this disturbed individual.

Of course calling up support for an imaginary uprising is just what is expected as "all means will justify the end."  Isn't that so, BE4U?

Actually BeeTree, if this guys manifesto is indeed his manifesto. This guy, like all the other nut job wackjob mass killing shooters - is from YOUR CAMP. The ends justify the means HUH ? Hurry get those drones in the skys with this one !!

My camp? Hmmm? I thought you had a FEMA tent with my name on it?   I don't think I am a racist BE4U so I don't know what you are talking about. Cheering on a cop-killer, well, that is what is , to me, really, because you wear that hat all the time.  That is again a distinction you always ignore.

You are kidding right?

Moons, I was less than artful in the way I phrased it ..........  yes, the 2nd Amendment is pretty explicit as to its purpose. Where I was skeptical was whether given the disparity in fire power between the federal government and the American citizenry's weapons, there would be any way of countering a tyrannical government.

However.............this incident with Dorner shows that one well armed, trained and motivated individual can cause substantial havoc so several hundred or several thousand such individuals may be able to neutraize the disparity in firepower.

But I have no special knowledge of the logistics of such an operation.

There is a 71 yr old newspaper delivery woman is in ICU right now with bullets in her back.

Ex Cop Perp .. 6'4 stocky muscle built African American man. Police shot two women ..one an elderly lady and the other her middle age daughter. Both causation.

His use of military acronyms and jargon was definitely trying to intimidate the LAPD and it obviously worked.

Although on the scanner last night I heard one cop say "Notify 911 that they will have a call coming in because the person inside wants to verify that we are police officers" and then gave the address they were at. I was surprised that they were that rational - so maybe the top brass now realized how quickly this could escalate into major blowback and they are making an attempt to be reasonable.

It's clear the Police now realize the public at large can activate a Circular Force Continuum.

Has there been any confirmation on edits to his "manifesto" yet ?

If the long one is real, it's no wonder the media and the left would want that buried. He was media (and left wing propaganda) obsessed. Maybe he saw the Lincoln movie and it helped him decide to do this. Can't imagine that he would miss that movie based on his obsessions. The ends justify the means.

This really blows the usual leftist propaganda out of the water. We now have a murderer/terrorist, who is African American, and was brainwashed by CNN/MSNBC. Doesn't fit the agenda at all.
