Still no news. There is the old saying that No News is Good News, well the only good news that could come out of this is that the problems with the venue at Braunschweg have now being resolved, resulting in nobody losing any money on Hotels and Flights. Then of course we will ALL have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that the resolution actually materialises by becoming the reality at the time of the show, otherwise if it is (as a previous poster suggested) a problem with the Turf , there will  be some pretty muddy dogs and spectators , not to mention the potential danger such ground conditions could cause. All in all creating a Sieger that would be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

As much as I hope the situation can be resolved for the sake of those who have already paid for things up front, I do hope the SV don't rely on a promise that the venue will 'Do its best to sort the problem on time' because if there is ANY DOUBT whatsoever it is far better the venue be moved now than stay where it is and have the thousands of Sieger show spectators, exhibitors and dogs subjected to a disastrous weekend, now that would be a travesty as well as a total waste of everyones time and money.

Last news i heard either different location or at Braunschweg on a later date

Hi to all,

Just spoke to the SV in Germany and they told me that at this time stiil the location will be Braunschweig and also it will be that date. I ask them to put something on their website so that we are informed.

Let's hope they will do that.

Now Mr. zum Felde told me that there is now more chance for the siegerschau in 2011 in Braunschweig.

Thre is also no possibility for the siegerschau in the year 2011 in Ulm.

Yes, don't forget to go ahead and cancel your room reservations in Braunschweig!

(Mumbling: "What a bunch of amateurs!! Hope they will elect a better management tomorrow! That is, if the meeting doesn't get cancelled because of the snow!")

SV-Bundessiegerzuchtschau 2011 (12/10)

In den vergangenen Wochen verdichteten sich die Gerüchte, dass die SV-Bundessiegerzuchtschau 2011 nicht, wie geplant, in Braunschweig stattfinden würde.

Trotz der intensiven Bemühungen durch die Landesgruppe Niedersachsen war es nicht möglich, die Verantwortlichen der Stadt Braunschweig im Hinblick auf die Nutzung des Eintracht Stadions in Braunschweig zu einer Veränderung ihrer Haltung zugunsten der SV-Bundessiegerzuchtschau zu überzeugen. Die von der Stadt Braunschweig unterbreiteten Terminvorschläge waren für den Ablauf des Vereinsjahres nicht umsetzbar.

Somit ist es nun traurige Gewissheit, dass die Veranstaltung nicht in Braunschweig stattfinden kann.

Mit höchster Priorität wird derzeit an der Festlegung eines alternativen Veranstaltungsortes für die Durchführung gearbeitet.

SV National Breed Show 2011 (12/10)

In recent weeks, compacted the rumors that the SV-Bundessiegerzuchtschau not 2011, as planned, would take place in Braunschweig.

Despite the intensive efforts by the National Group of Lower Saxony, it was not possible to convince the leaders of the City of Braunschweig with respect to the use of the stadium in Eintracht Braunschweig to change their attitude in favor of the SV-Bundessiegerzuchtschau. Been presented by the city of Braunschweig proposed dates were not for the running of the club year to implement.

Thus, it is now sad fact that the event can not take place in Braunschweig.

With highest priority is currently working on the definition of an alternative venue for implementation.
