I used to have three pitbulls, and I can say they were dogs with excellent temperments, fantastic and 100% reliable around children.
Not a mean bone in any of them, although my sons female sort of took on just a little more arrogant personality as shr was aleays out and about hanging out with my then 17 year old son (need I say more)
Originally, fighting had nothing to do with what this breed was bred for.
They were actually used to keep bulls in line back in the time of the romans.
And they developed the term pit bull terrier from being plaved in pits, in of all things,"rat killing comtests", yeah, pits full of rats.
People ruin the temperment of pitbulls,
I also do not see any benefit in the micing of these breeds, Unless you got 30-30 years you want to put in to START to develope a breed.
