Sorry, stomach whoops not pancreas. Guddu it is so funny you should say that. Alot of us EPI dog owners supplement our dogs with B-12 with intrinsic factor whether it is Trinfac B-12 or Metagenics B-12 and it seems to really help. Yet, just the other day one of the vets from Texas A&M university said that if a dog is truly B-12 deficient then no amount of Intrinsic factor would help. Interesting. I did pick up some B-12 from the drug store after I read his comments so that I can give my dog a shot once a month as B-12 really makes a big difference in her activity level and digestion. I think  there may be some degree of maintainance with the capsules once the levels are normal again and perhaps you can go longer between shots if you are supplementing with the capsules. I don't know about every dog, I can only speak from my own experience.
