Beetree,
It appears you have a very bizzare admirer, more commonly referred to these days as a stalker.  It seems this stalker can't help himself and must try to kontrol and take over every post on the OT section.  It must be the mindkontrol or the fluoride in the tap water.  I hope when I get really old I don't turn into that "crazy, boring, annoying old guy" that no one can stand to be around.  I suppose if I do turn into that guy in 30 years or so and no one calls or visits me I'll just watch youtube videos all day and post them and rant on a dog forum.  Hopefully, I'll be long gone before I ever reach that sad and depressing low point in life.

Someone has been busy editing her posts.....

I thought this was suppose to be a funny thread.

by Preston on 07 October 2012 - 03:10

Slamdunc, you are projecting again, huh? Name calling and laeblling should be beneath you.  It's like the Jack Nicholson's famous movie speech.  I guess you just can't handle ideas which are outside your little sandbox.

Now here is a real funny joke for you, expecting to get any retirement or social security after the derivative bubble hits?  Did you really think they could keep kicking the can down the road forever?  Americans are considered expendable chattel under the coming NWO global tyranny. Yes, it's very funny and it should give you a good laugh. Will you enjoy your job when gasoline is 10-12 USD a gallon and food shelves are empty and your job is in the middle of a complete war zone?

Unless Americans wake up soon and take back their country from the offshore banksters who hijacked it, the future is going to be pretty bleak as all American assets continue to be stripped and the monetary system debased, followed by the biggest wave of crime and social breakdown imaginable.  How can any small business or investor get ahead or old folks survive when inflation is 12-15% a year and bank interest pays less than 2%.  It's a guarenteed long term loser situation and a formula for complete collapse. Can you imagine what NYC will become in 36 hours without electricity, fiod, water and fuel?  Remember the NYC blackout?  It was a stich.

Now here is an article that should get you laughing hysterically.  It's a gas.
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/10/05/interview-world-affairs-monthly/

Detroit is gone as a city. Don't take my word for it investigate. You can bet this is what most large American cities will become within the next several years.  Now this is really a hoot.http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2012/10/05/interview-world-affairs-monthly/ St. Louis is almost as bad.  At night it is virtual war zone like areas of east LA.  You can hear gunfire every night (not just some nights) and Chitown is quickly following suit, with murders almost as common as jaywalking. There are always plenty of job openings for police officers in LA or San Antonio.  Wanna guess why?

Well every party needs a pooper and one happened to show up and ruin the funny thread.  This is the "off topic" section which means any thread can be taken "off topic," hijacked and derailed for any personal agenda.

I'm not expecting any retirement or social security, I'm planning my own retirement and doing quite well.  My current profession is a second career, I don't do it for the money.  Besides, I am a prepper.

by Preston on 07 October 2012 - 05:10

Every prepper I met was a crackpot.  Maybe you are different. I have worked with wives in the past who had stalkers who were police officer husbands and ex-husbands.  These guys were authoritarian control freaks, some violent and some suicidal.  The thin blue line often provided great cover for their stalking and harassment, but colleagues became shocked when these perps often went too far and beat the sh*t out of their wives and ex-wives. Of course their memories went blank and they didn't remember nuttin when called in before IA. These control freaks just couldn't allow anyone to have their own beliefs and tended to be thumpers on the job.  Here is a current case which you should fine hilarious.

Any police officer that buys prepper  stuff, excess food, ammo, and survival gear or gold will be tagged by homeland security and surveilled very closely. It's a guarenteed way to endup on a watch list.  All such purchases will be tracked by the new nsa facilty in Utah. http://www.democracynow.org/2012/3/21/exposed_inside_the_nsas_largest_and And as you may have been told in your training, facil recognition software and voicegramming has now been deployed in most large dept stores as security measures.  These systems are connected to local fusion centers where purchases are recorded on camera and interfaced with facial id and voixce scans.  No use of a credit card is necessary since voice and facial physiology is more than adequate in most cases.  this info is analyzed on large super computers by use of complex algorithyms and risk profiles are generated.  Any prepping activities are defined by homeland security as major risk factors as are being a veteran, returning veteran, Ron Paul supporter or retired police officer.  But don't take my word for it talk to somebody involved at your local fusion center. If you have a reputation for being an honest community oriented cop who puts public service first and is not a player, you will probably be defined as a security risk.

Slamdunc,

I edited because I had company over and didn't have the proper concentration to follow (the lunacy), and really thought it was getting too weird with the thought of being stalked, when all I wanted was Preston to go away. Fourteen threads authored by Preston, apparently aren't enough. Including mine as hijacked,  that really was 15 threads for Preston out of 40, just last night.

I see it as a problem, but I must be one of the few. Therefore, I said I would cease and desist, but Preston won't repay the kindness.

Beetree,
You are obviously not in the "group" and it is therefore ok to hijack your threads.

BTW, I am not a prepper that was sarcasm.  James, most people that feel the way you do and share your views are certainly stockpiling ammo, planning their spider hole and are part of a crack pot underground militia.  That was just me stopping to talk to the lunatic on the corner and buying you lunch.  Or, i just felt like throwing a fish head to the troll under the bridge.  Gollum enjoy your lunch.

by beetree on 07 October 2012 - 17:10

Slamdunc,

There is no anti-hijacking rule in the OT revisited, as far as I can tell. There is no anti-lunacy rule, either. Or truthfulness rule. One just needs to beg for common decency.
