we dont use the term for coats here on our country many breeders dont even know

I can't say for certain what lennonmccartney means by "plush" coat, but I believe many here use the term in reference to a dog that has a stock coat, yet has a fuller and slightly longer than the typical stock coat. My last SL dog fell into that category. He was clearly a stock coat, but had a very plush, full and thick coat.

I don't think anyone here is tryng to make up a name, but instead it is a way a differentiating between a long stock coat and a plushier than typical stock coat.

IMO, this pup will have a standard coat, not long, not plush..

Im pretty sure he is either plush or coated, cause his fur doesnt lie close to his body, usually when I see the short stock coats at this age, thier fur lies close

Update: Rolland is now 4 months old, and growing VERY FAST. I used to think he looked exactly like his mother(his mother was light tan/black), but he is looking more and more like his dad everyday(red/black). He has lost alot of his puppy fur, and the course/adult fur now lies closer to his body, I truly believe now that he is not a long coat, like the breeder informed me., although I am not sure if his fur would grow longer with age. Her is a few pics of him at about 17 weeks...

Question: My vet is constantly on my case of neutering him, I always thought that it is best to wait until he is fully grown, but I can always be wrong, if some one can help me out that would be great!

It is best for dogs, particularly large breed males, to wait until adulthood before neutering (if you even neuter them at all, we've got 8 adult intact dogs who live in our house with no problems at all.) 

The only real reason why vets push for early neuter is because they want to get your money now and not risk you paying someone else for neuter/spay surgery. 

A good veterinarian does whats right for the animal, not whats right for their pocketbook.

He is extremely handsome! Regarding neutering, wait until he' at least a year old, preferably longer.
