'Justice' sired this poor dog as well as another of this "breeder's" future brood bitches; 'Savvy'. http://www.willowvalleygsd.com/newadditions.htm
"Savvy is a Priska X Justice daughter
She is a thick, large boned, stocky female and has an excellent temperament!
She is 83 lbs.in this picture. Her OFA just came back at 8 months GOOD!
(No info on her AKC or OFA #, so cannot confirm) She'll be bred the end of the year or beginning of next. :-)"

A dog cannot be OFA'd until it is 24 months of age, so if Savvy has been OFA'd I assume she is talking about preliminary results.

I believe that it is very imporant to note that neither 'Justice' nor his parents or grandparents have ever been OFA'd, however his full brother (mentioned above) is Dysplastic. You need at least 3 generations of OFA'd dogs to have some assurance regarding their hips. I would reccomend that the X-rays posted above by Jersey Girl be OFA'd. That information will appear on 'Justice's AKC/OFA record as a sire of a dysplastic dog. Any potential customer of this breeder, performing their due dilligence, would see it.

I agree with Nans gsd that the legal route (suing for a refund of the price of the puppy) will cost you way more than the price of a great puppy. As my attorney always tells me: "Never sue on principle..."

No info on mother, but the breeder has some videos posted on their website of Karma and Justice from '09 : http://www.willowvalleygsd.com/apps/videos/videos/show/5086736-the-playground-justice-and-karma-playing-9-24-09
I also believe that the picture in the top left corner of their website is 'Justice' as well...

Now a light is shining, " you can still do right by this girl, Willow Valley", send her a PLUSH COAT" pup, as a replacement. This girls heart is obviously broken over he dog. SHE is a novice, you are not, seeing those hip x-rays and knowing that the uncle had HD, That dog needed a guarantee from the get go, once you charged money for him. The odds were definately stacked AGAINST Justice and jerseygirl . DO THE RIGHTTHING HERE, It is not to late, this girl loved her dog and obviously took him to the vet to care for him. A bad reputation is not good when breeding dogs. I k have faith Willow Valley, give the girl a healthy pup.
