So, in other words, jiri does not have the ability to make copies of the ALL the papers of ALL the dogs he sells?? He doesn't have access to a color copier? He can't mail the copy to a customer if the papers get lost?? Seven years ago the papers on one puppy I bought got lost in the mail. Post office tried to find them, eventually, jiri sent me a copy from the registry. It took months, but no longer than the eight months it took to get the papers for a pup I bought from jiri two years later that you were copying which only takes moments to do. And How convenient to screen customers meant for the owners of the dogs listed on your site that you don't own, just gives you a bit more of the control you obviously crave. If it was truly imperative for the public to have in front of them every dog jiri ever used for breeding then why does he take them down after he sells them, rather than putting them up after they're sold like you do??? Also, how many copies do you make, just in case the copy gets lost, since this happens so frequently?? And how many copies do you keep of how many dogs of all those color copies for how long?? You must have thousands, stacks and stacks. You must have a huge file cabinet for so many important papers under lock and key for safe keeping. Is copying the papers something all brokers do instead of the seller?? Just say'n .

Incidentally, those papers on my puppy that were lost seven years ago, post office could not find them any place in US, which they said meant they probably didn't get to US. Now, I'm wondering, how does it help anybody if the papers are mailed to you in Arizona, which is a couple thousand more miles for those papers to have to travel,if they get lost going there. Why would papers be less likely to get lost mailed to you? Jiri might as well take the chance and send them directly to owner. Also, it'd save you a LOT of money and the owners could get the papers sooner.

Hans,

No I mean how can you describe a dog to a client, tell them about his temperment , looks, overall health if you never saw him or worked him personally? I think that has happened to you in the past. I think the seller of the dog should see and work the dog with his own eyes, check the product he is going to sell for big  dollars. Not just ship sight unseen to the USA and hope the client like him.

"Incidentally"Joan that is simple, Jiri does not care about it as  much. I do. He cares only enough to send it DHL which is quite safe.
Jinopo sends several  papers to me in one envelope with DHL . One DHL shipment up to certain  weight  costs about 2000 CZK( Czech Crowns) One Dollar is about 20 CZK. That means one DHL shipment is about $100. If someone wants to pay to JINOPO $100 for DHL then they are happy to ship the papers direct. We have explained this to You . Thus you knew the answer and have no need to ask such question in such inflammatory way.  Or wait! Let me think,.... You sell dogs and I sell dogs......Maybe  you have an agenda here as  my competitor?
Malleus Maleficarum?

Frank.
It is a simple question. Would you rather if people would sell dogs without description?
Yes? No?
But wait . You really can not figure it out?  Or you are not interested in the answer because you already know it? You are  only interested in Malleus Maleficarum?
Well I'll answer the question to you  and to some others  who may think that this is a nefarious mystery.
If I do not have the dog here and do not have personal experience with it, then I ask  the people who know the dog personally and who tested such dog and post the answer together with pedigree,  x rays of elbows and hips or the hips level if it was evaluated officially. I also post videos and pictures. And on top of it if the owner asks a question whose answer is not posted or I do not know, then  I'll call people who does know the answer and if they do not know the answer they test such  dog again for that particular trait. We also will provide additional videos and pictures up on a request.  Same is done to a degree by all other importers. It only makes sense.
You, of all people should know about all this since I have here 282 emails exchanges between you me  and me end Europe and  many phone calls spanned through period of one year,  which involved your numerous questions and hours of time I and others in Europe spend  about  dogs for you.
Or maybe you have an agenda as my competitor?

Wow!!!! You should become a politician, you don't answer questions and you make untrue statements. You are a broker/dealer, I am not. So you are wrong about competition and that sounds like so much hog wash concerning mailing papers. if jiri does not care whether or not buyers of his dogs get their papers, then it's good that you have brought this to light. Something for people considering buying from him need to keep in mind.

Hans and I have communicated privately and we have worked out our differences. There will be no more mud slinging between us as this was not the appropriate place for us to work things out. I would recommend dogs from Jinopo as all the dogs I have purchased from them have been up to my expectations and some even beyond.

by frankm205 on 07 January 2012 - 21:01

Hans, Sometimes you just miss the picture. You are a professional at one thing and that is double talk. The majority of e mails and phone calls were pertaining to the overpriced puppy I purchased from you. My bad , now I know better. I have people who have e mailed me personally to tell about the poor business practices you and your partner are involved in. It really is amazing how many people come forward and I'm working on getting them to tell their story. I'm not your competitor Hans, I only sell a few dogs a year and a couple of litters a year. You are big and famous and are the only one who knows all about the dogs. Heck I heard you invented the GSD!!  Best for you if you crawled back into your cave and figure out a new business plan. The one you currently have isn't working anymore!

I also breed and sell only a couple litters a year ,two or three on average. I will say the truth is "the dogs and puppies I bought for myself from jinopo have met my expectations and some even beyond." These are my foundation dogs : seven years ago I purchased my first pup from jiri and two years ago my last puppy arrived here from him. A total of seven dogs which I have bought from jiri which are excellent dogs of breeding quality and I've trained all six that were just puppies when I got them and titled two. Two, a daughter and grand son, I have in training now for schH. One female from my first bitch just received schH I by HOT first timer, a littermate brother to her has all three Rally titles, CD, and working on CDX all done by 69year old lady, first timer owner. A son and granddaughter of my first two are patrol dogs in La. I now have great grand pups on the ground and I anticipate much success with them. Just a little bit of what I've been doing for the past seven years, been too busy to worry about being in competition with anyone, just the daylight. Also, concurrently with the working line dogs, I raised, trained and put schHI on a Mittlewest show line male for myself to have a first hand comparison.
