Sheesh, well I only have one human kid :) She is almost 2 1/2 now.... but it does make training difficult! Luckily I have a great club and great club members who didnt mind me dragging my baby/toddler along to training with me! She loves the dogs and training. She told me and my sister one day "Mommy, I think I need my own SchH dog to train"! Hopefully someday! But yea, that is the biggest reason Drama is only a SchH1 still. We took a lot of time off while I was pregnant and when the baby came, and then after that training was more difficult due to the human kid.

I see Valerie. :-) I misread your post. Still, very impressive. I couldn't do it with a toddler. Having a fantasic club and support group like you, I would be a totally unfocused nerve bag myself. :-)
Vonissk, I am looking forward to this experience. I expect good things. What is your new avenue yoyou are taking? Or are you keeping it close hold? I understand if you are, just curious. I like to hear new ideas.
Aakay, very nice dogs! I like a complete well rounded dog as well. I want a balanced combination of show and working, stable, sound, strong with endurance and a brain. I want my GSD to be a thinker. I believe that is one of my favorite things about our breed, they are so incredibly smart.

More pure working line dogs, that are not too hard on the eyes :-) (sourced from Czech Border Patrol and other similar lines):

Loved all of them Aakay, especially the first 4.... stunning and the videos were very impressive.
Your 6 month old girl is quite a beauty as well. :-)
The "Total Dog" can come in all kinds of colors and markings... can be showline, working line or a combo... as long as the breed stays true. :-)

Part of the problem to breeding a quality cross of work and showlines is that BOTH sire and dam must be of excellent quality to overcome the criticism and opposition to such a practice. If you look at the better examples of both lines, they have excellent pedigree. If it were me, I'd start with a SL female of very good to excellent pedigree and very strong temperament, drives and abilities, and breed her to a WL male of excellent conformation like a Javir vom Talka Marda or a Benny vom Haus Pe-Ja to mention two obvious examples of WL dogs of excellent aesthetics. To me, on the aesthetic, structure is primary and color as long as it is intense, is not that big of an issue.
It used to be that color was not that important in shows, but the industry changed and sables, blacks and greys got squeezed out of the big money. It would be nice to see the SV undo that harm.

Agreed. Nowadays, all one sees in these shows is a sea of black and red dogs.....almost as if that is the only "acceptable" GSD color. When I take my girl out on walks, I get a lot of compliments on how gorgeous she is, and then questions like : "Is she a real German Shepherd ?" or "Is that a wolf ?" (she does look like a wolf - LOL !) etc., since the general public, after being exposed to exclusively Black and Reds, think B&R is the only GSD color.
But I got to say that my Czech WL girl is preternaturally aware of her surroundings and even in thick woods, absolutely nothing escapes her.
When out in the woods on a moonless night, she completely covers a 100 feet perimeter around me (no worries that any wild animals - or people - are within that space and goes unnoticed by her) while herself ranging even further afield, and then circling right back to provide constant cover as I move along. Amazing agility too, which is almost cat-like (can effortlessly scoot right up a sheer cliff and scoot right down too). It is a sight watching her racing at top-speed, after something in the woods, while negotiating through fallen trees/branches that are lying around - just like a wolf !
