YOu know what?  All y'all are acting a little bit goofy......full moon??

Pirates Lair posted a video, some approve some don't what's new?  That's the way the world works and the way the cookie crumbles.  But some of you take the differences of opinion  so personally and get so emotional about this stuff.

Pirates' Lair not everyone has a video camera, and not everyone who has one wants to put videos out on the world wide web  of their dogs biting,  and they have very good reason.  If you want to do it, that's your perogative but here's a news flash, Pedigree Data Base does not require anyone furnish  videos in order to illustrate their points, and videos also are not required to validate an opinion.

I like the video.  I have not experienced a face bite but have witnesssed several.  Most face bites have occured while the decoy was standing.  They are never pretty.

I did not know this untill I saw a few that superglue works to put skin flaps back together.

Kim you are brave to keep putting videos on here.

You have good nerves, lack suspicion, and high thresholds!

Sueincc- I am only asking for clarifications of the criticisms directed to me. If you have a better idea of how I can ask someone to demonstrate to me what they are saying is correct or incorrect please let me know.

Again, I am not in the video, the people I work with are.

Videos provide the best example on an Internet forum, along with an explanation.

I'm well aware of what the PDB requires as are you and everyone else, why was that important for you to point out ?

Because Kim, on this thread alone, more than once, you have  told people who disagree with you  to "post  videos" as if their opinion is somehow less valid that yours just because they don't post videos.
GAWD some of you are ridiculously overly defensive.

It is too bad we are off the OP topic.....It was a good topic to discuss IMO. I think the ability to read your dog is not easy and the video is a very good example of why it is important to be able to....

Please, how am I emotional? I am asking for clarification from people who say what we are doing is wrong.

If you are unable to clarify anything then why are you asking me these questions?

The topic of the post was "Watch Your Dog".

Is that so difficult for anyone to understand?

Just to clarify, as there seems to be some confusion as to who is who.

My Name is Tony Nikl, I operate Canczechdogs, on this forum my handle is RUSH, and yes I am the one responsible for making these videos, as well as training lots of the the dogs in these videos. I am the handler in this one.
Kim, Pirate Lair, traines and works with me.

To all those that gave us positive response... Thank you very much.

Deacon.
With your reply, you have made it worth my while, to make and post this video as well as other videos.
"Pirate I shall remember to watch my dog a little closer this afternoon while doing aggression training in the suit!!"
That's what is all about. Thank you!

As for scenarios.. well as my long ago guru (former Czech border army dog trainer) said. The more scenarios you do, more strange places you train... better your dog and you will be.

So would I send a dog over a car at a man shooting a gun?? Not likely... But having done it in a training scenario, I know I can if I have to.
Training scenario's are about the dog, for the dog... And hey, it's a lots fun as well.

So if you enjoy our posts and or have any question, just ask or make a comment. Constructive criticism and or suggestions are welcome.
Feel free to PM me.

If you don't enjoy.. Again, constructive criticism is welcome. Otherwise I am sure there are other things you enjoy, so have at her.

Have fun, enjoy life,

Tony Nikl
