Hi Marge, no probs :-)

So David Payne, is dragging up my dead dog a somewhat honourable thing to do, in some sort of sick distorted disingenuous attempt to find out who people are in your ongoing feuds and battles.  Why drag me into it?  I wasn’t aware my identity was a secret.

I am a GSD owner David Payne, nothing more, nothing less, and a human being.  My cousin registered on this site when I found Spender, and I continued to use his log in.  I stayed to explore what was currently happening in the breed and especially the health of the breed to make an informed decision as to our next dog.  Not all owners look to the ABS; some like me, do their homework and are perfectly capable of educating themselves.  I am not active in the breed however, I have enough now to make that informed decision…

PS, Mo (Penny) I had intended to thank you for posting the results of the Koerung however, when I saw how that thread degenerated, I refrained from posting.

Sonya Coulter - I also remember your posts on timeonline, and maybe you are a 'sick' individual.

David Payne, you are not worth the effort in replying other than to say what I’ve just said.  I have nothing further to say to you.

Sonya Coulter: I am delighted to read it. Does that also apply to your other identities on here?
Are there anymore "cousins"?

So are we any further forward to knowing anything regarding the original reason for opening this thread, or  is it yet another closely guarded secret about nothing ? lol

The drama created on this board,  more often than not about nothing of any real significance or obvious importance never ceases does it !!! lol

It's Good To Laugh !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

I am giving some serious thought to some serious matters regarding BAGSD.   This is why I havent divulged any of the goings on at the VPG AGM - where may I say some people were not informed that it was scheduled, and even the Chairman of BAGSD EC and the Gen Sec didnt know.  There were no previous minutes produced, and I doubt there will be contemperaneous notes on this one either. There was certainly consternation amongst some when questions were innocently asked.

The General AGM went on yesterday, and it was poorly attended by people who could make a difference. I have to say, it was well chaired.   The vice chairman never turned up, as he had his own clubs show that very day  -  I would have thought that could have been better arranged on either side.!!!

I have come to this conclusion.   Within the  working schedule of requirements for show dogs under our new found available show system in the UK, there is now an infiltration of "show people" joining VPG branches.  We have nothing to be wary of and  nothing to hide, we cant be held over a barrel with any veiled threats of anyone messing our dogs up, as we have but one requirement - to prove that our dogs are versatile enough to do the protection phase and  not worry about competing.   This is where most "show people" are coming from.  We wish to get the qualifications fairly and squarely, to the ability required.  We are helping to fund the VPG branches by our presence.

With that in mind, I can speak for myself, my daughter and another handful of friends who say that we have had invaluable help from a few people that have taken this on board.  However, on the other hand - there has also been much infighting, much intrigue, and the most terrible thing of all, I have seen first hand how down trodden lots of VPG members are towards certain other members.

At the AGM yesterday, it became clear that the EC is very set in its ways of not bothering to inform the members, out of sheer apathy and the way they have been doing things since Nelson lost his eye.... even one lady said she had been put in the position of EC member to "Govern" us and she should be left to do it.  I was actually told very aggresively, that a certain person had been doing the job for over 20 years and we had come in over the last 2 years to change things....  Well, actually, YES

There was a very lively debate regarding the association becoming a limited company without informing members of a change in the constitution, and after MUCH debate with Shirley, it was agreed that BEFORE the job was finished (sorry for non technical terms) there would be a meeting called of all members, setting out the whole issue.
Nothing was mentioned or acknowledged about the Koerung.
Nothing at all on the Agenda regarding the disgusting treatment of one of their members by the Kennel Club
No Any Other Business – even by permission of the Chair!. This went against the grain again, and the meeting was re-opened.

The most amazing thing happened after the meeting had closed, that the Chairman of the VPG said he wanted a "quiet word" with Shirley and I.   He took us to one side and requested that we didnt frequent this forum, or answer any anonymous posts !  He said that he was getting problems from it.   BIG MISTAKE  -  Shirley kept her counsel, and I believe has written to him personally, I am going to say here and now, that I - unlike BAGSD mentality - believe in freedom of speech and to do as one wishes within my rights.  I also believe that apart from the abusive post

that apart from the abusive posts, people who choose to remain anonymous on this board have every right to do so, and make very good points and debate.   There is always the minority that can spoil issues, everyone should not be tarred with that brush.  As for me being told not to answer posts - Oh dear, I didnt know that it was within my membership to be told who I could and couldnt communicate with.  Mo

Mo;

Go girl!

tbh, given the previous and current abusive, manipulative and egocentric behaviour of this individual and members his crew i am not surprised that he doesn't want u discussing it on here (or anywhere else, for that matter!)

Glad to c u got the balls to stand up for yourself- hope bagsd sorts it's head out- lots of good people out there in bagsd the ec owes it to u

here's to the future, harmony, fairness and a unified selection proccess for wusv/fci

good luck

unified selection process might just finish the mafia off though hadnt it   !!!

There are good people in the BAGSD VPG and they are all very special to us, having taken us "show folk" under their wing - but they are being tarred with the same brush as the people who are trying to rule with a rod of iron.   Chairpersons, Secretaries, Treasurers are there to serve their members, not the other way around.   Mo.

by redriding on 12 April 2010 - 21:04

I know

Most bagsd jus fine ec need to kick itself in ass

ex show folk do fine in sch in uk mainly anyway- no problem

funny thing is that fanatics don't win here

good dog is good dog- commitment is commitment

who cares who is bagsd or gsdl if they think fair
