I suppose I will end my part in this discussion with this thought....cognitive dissonance.  Bee, your intitial response in this thread is rife with it.  I was merely trying to point out that fact and perhaps "illustrate to you" the error of your ways.  Before you readily cast stones and lambast someone in a public forum,  perhaps its best to evaluate the intent of the OP and not satiate your trite feelings (after all this segment is called Off Topic for a reason).

As for me, I will procede to "troll" the forum for German Shepherd information in order to make the best choice for my family and hopefully learn something in the process.

I will conclude by noting that yes I am a "newbie" and therefore by definition have been only associated with one name here (ranger2187).  As for the disparaging connation with the newbie term you so eloquently used, were you being "sarcastic" or "ironic", as you surely imply that I am "ghosting".....?

I guess your definition of sarcasm is different from mine.

I did go to the the online dictionary and I think you have something confused.

sarcasm:   A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.

While I can't prove my suspicions of who is who, here. With what I have seen from the OP and multiples nothing would surprise me.

As they say, there are as many dictionaries out there as there are opinions...additionally why only one definition, where is the definition of irony?  Why no rational response to the questions you posed to me directly?

If you had read closely, in the beginning of all of this I clearly define the terms I used.  Additionally, if one were to read the title of the post, watch the video, and then actually read what the OP posted in the comments, I would assess they were being IRONIC vice Sarcastic.  Perhaps mastery of the nuances of the English language is not a strong suit of many, to which I apologize and can understand the confusion.

For an Admin to cast doubt as to my "identity" is truly baffling (check my IP address could be an easy start and solution to any "suspicions").  As I have never really read anything from the OP, I would assume my inherent writing style is vastly different and should be an idicator of a difference, unless they went so far as to hire a ghost writer as well.

Also, I was not defending anyone, I was defending a concept and the catty attacks from select members that are likely apparent to many....just so happens that Bee responded first.  So, "admin" if you would not mind, I would appreciate a retraction of your obviously biased statement, unless that is this site suffers from "in-bred" concepts traditionally associated with nefarious German Shepherd breeders...in which case all information from the habitual posters is then in question.


 

To come on this site and start all the problems that the OP has with a husband overseas doesn't even jibe with what she said in this thread so this whole thread is out the window and it just so happens you show up with an IP that could come from anywhere in the world seems strange at best.

You can have your opinion of my bias all you want but I don't think Beetree would agree with your statement.

I have NO idea about previous "issues"...if that was made apparent, then perhaps this thread would have turned out differently, but the continued attacks, lack of vision, and general cattiness of the situation was to much for me to not respond.  Additionally, to assume that someone with now 10 posts would understand the subtle nuances of historical bad blood and then ACCUSE said poster (me) of being a ghost is pretty sloppy at best and disingenuous at worst. 

As for my IP address being anywhere in the world, well put down the tin-foil and note in my beginning  post I stated that I am in Afghanistan (researching dogs as I want to purchase one upon my return).

So, will you admit fault to your judgement that I am some sort of "ghost" and in the future refrain from being biased in that regard (I mean come on you can tell what I have looked at and where I have friggin responded).  If not, well then enjoy your site (it is pretty informative) and good luck to you and your endeavors.

If you have an IP that can't be geo located you could be in Kuwait for all we know. What did you say you did in the military?

You just want to keep it going so you know what I will give you the last word so have at it.

Telling you what I do in the military and with the military will not help confirm or deny where I am located, so it's a moot point and does not merit a reponse on this open forum.
