Don Corleone

Max said, "They are my own words...". See how that works?

Max,
Thank you, it actually did help.
BTW, the coffee is ground never instant.  Actually, Newman's organic made in a Keurig coffee maker. Every cup is fresh and ready for you when ever you want it.

SchaeferhundSchH,

Does this help you at all? I hope it does
It is hard sometimes to explain, but if you
try to understand Der Schuzthund in one sitting
you will for sure have a head ache. Especially
when Dr Reisner is still trying to figure it out.
Good luck to you and feel free to ask any question if I can
help.

Thanks Jim....

I was buying Starbucks ground at $9 a pop,
and found a coffee I like just as good at
Family deals store for $4. It is Colombian
gourmet....

I hope people will ask about soft ,hard and sharp.
It predates Der Schutzhund...before dog trainers were rocket
scientist.

MainlyMax I am going to read through the links provided and the information you have provided.

This may take an afternoons worth of reading LOL But I will definitely read it all. thank you

is the Der Schutzhund book entirely in German? Is there an English translated book I could purchase?

MAINLYMAX

by MAINLYMAX on 19 February 2011 - 21:02

It is translated by Armin Winkler.....$20

Written in German by the author Dr Helmut Reisner.
Who speaks English. So I don't know why he could not have
translated it.

People use terms like prey drive, defence drive,
fighting drive and so on in schuzthund. They are
referring to this book.

Understanding the drive your dog is working in,
is how you are better able to train it. It is best to
seek out a person who knows these terms
and can show you on the field. You will go
back and forth from the book to the field
before you fully understand the drives
and behaviors talked about in Der Schutzhund.

But don't loose sight of the big picture, which is
you can smoke the competition by getting a good dog.
And train with a good club.....Any Club is better than no club.( The Max Zone)

oh so the guy who writes those articles on schutzhund village, also translated that book.

I just ordered Der Schutzhund translated by Armin Winkler. I look forward to getting into it. Thank you again MainlyMax. You have been a great help!

"made in a Keurig coffee maker"

OT apology, but Jim, this causes me much distress. Great coffee is my one and only weakness (well if you don't count budweiser, Crown Royal and cheap redneck wimmen).

What am I missing in the Keurig. I use a Technivorm.

I'm sure "training club" had a different meaning back in the day! :-)

After much experience with cheap redneck wimmin........Its time for a change.

The whole deal with a soft dog is that you shouldnt ever have to give them a hard correction. Otherwise whats the point? Im getting old and hard corrections are just too much work.....so are CRW. ;)
