Yes. there are dogs at shows who are dyed. When I first met you at at 2005 NASS,  a well-known breeder/broker wa told by his German handler that they would have to his dog to the motel room and make some changes. The judge commented that the dog had not looked this way in German! I suspect that potassium permanganate had been applied in the motel room to stain the dog. Ieill tell you privately if the dog went VA.

I recall seeing many dogs at the 1997 USA Sieger Show in Bakersfield that looked nothing like their published photos in color and with toplines that had been Photoshopped..

An 8 we old pup is likely to retain his black if he has a black chest, black half-way down his  legs, and tar heels.

its a crying shame some unscrupulous breeders dye their dogs paws, under belly and other parts of the dogs coat in order to place...  usually somewhere in the middle or the back of the pack! cheating to finish at the back of the pack!!! lmao my word you  think they would reevaluate their breeding program and where they are going wrong?! if  you place high after you dyed the dogs coat you didn't prove your a good breeder, you proved your a good cheater! :o(
