I'm still thinking...........

She is a little long in the body. I would like to see a little tighter feet. Otherwise I think her conformation is good. Her food drive is very high. What I dont like is I end up with sore fingers...lol. In her protection her grips are full. She is more defense than prey. So I would like to see more prey initially. She comes out onto the field in denfese, I would like to see her more in prey and then switch to defense if needed. Tracking is coming along. I have fallen behind on this one, I havent tracked her a lot. She has done good though on the tracks I have done with her. As far as obedience goes I like everything except she is a little handler soft. I guess that can be either good or bad.
I Love her to pieces though, I would never trade her for anything.

Annie..
I got her when she was almost 2 years old. I wish I would have gotten her when she was younger, her previous owner was very hard on her and also fed her CRAPPY food. She ate either beneful or pedigree or what every was on sale..UGH. She is handler soft and if she thinks I am upset gets submissive. I dont like that. As far as conformation goes she is a little short in the croup and I would like to see a little better bone. I LOVE her head though and the fact that she isnt to long in the body.
She has a great personality and temperment.

Aiko..
as far as conformation goes..... he is a little cowhocked in the rear. His bone is ok but I would like to see it a little thicker. I would like to see his feet a little tighter. He does have a slightly steep croup.
His obedience is really nice. He is sometimes too happy and goofy. I would like to see him track a little faster. He does stay on the track good and almost always gets his turns. So I will deal with him tracking a little slow.. his protection work is really nice. He has full grips, good mix of prey/defense, outs good, is obedient during protection. The only thing I dont like is he get vocal on the reattach with stick hits.

I know as far as myself my handling skills need more improvement than my dogs genetics but I am constanlty trying to think of how I can improve on both.
thanks for everyone's input

My Female will have to get her ScH3 and be korclassed before i would consider breeding from her hopefully by the end of this year
, Regards her Pedigree it is impeccable, and she would if when she gets the above again be Line bred back to her very near ancestors

Wrestleman, I truthfully believe all GSD's should be workers first. Making pets to meet the needs of the majority is messing up the GSD and many other breeds.
Wrestleman, when you say your dog has over the top drive are you referring to prey drive? how's your dog's natural defense drive? Does it still have it's protective instincts? Not being sarcastic. Just seeing how you would improve on your dog's next generation if you ever chose to breed him? Or would you do like steve and just try and reproduce what you all ready have?

I would breed to a dog like her with huge bone and head She is very maleish (I know no word) I just think that dogs today, especially males are too small in bone and head.. some are 65 plus cm with long muzzles and no real skull muscle that you need for bite power I guess i like a more thick , muscled, heavy boned dog period. I love the dogs from even 15 years ago with big heads short wide muzzles and could bite so hard. My bitch will bite you for sure and has good civil. She has great prey dive as well as food drive and defense drive . She and her litter have all been full hard biters as well as showing good defense.
I , and its just me prefer a dog that is a little more for real and a natural protector, a dog that is aloof somewhat or indifferent to strangers.
If she is like her mom no matter what I bred her to the drives would be over the top.
