It should serve, provided people actually bother reading it, to show them that you are the one who owns and controls this site, and that threatening you with legal action if you don't bow and scrape to them, will go absolutely nowhere.
I find it amusing when people think they have the right to sue someone for having a differing opinion. If you are actually slandering someone, that's different, but everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to it. There are a lot of people who could really use to learn a little bit of diplomacy, to treat others as they would prefer to be treated, but until that happens, I guess we're stuck with moderators to be the conscience of the board.
