On hindsight, I should have gone to the WUSV in Seville instead of the BSP in Meppen in September.  I couldn't have done both ;(  Although it was great fun meeting up with friends there and taking loads of pictures, I have never been to Spain (and Portugal) the only 2 countries in Europe missed out in my travels before being tied down with the dogs.  And the cost would only been marginally more expensive.  Oh well, I must plan a vacation next year depending on where the WUSV is held.

I had this long, well thought out message responding to Phil's remarks about the posting of GSD specific info on the General Topics board, but I just deleted it without posting it.

Suffice it to say, I am officially stunned to hear someone complaining about the posting of DOG related things on a dog related board!  First religion and politics were not acceptable, then most other OTs came under fire.  Now, breed specific things are no longer acceptable.  

I'm afraid to ask what might be next.

BTW, my address bar, as I type, says: www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/bulletins_read/432654.html?pagen=2.  This board may be general topic, but it is generally populated by mostly GSD people, and so it is completely natural that folks post about the GSD here, as well as on the breed specific board.
