You would cut down 50% of all the B.S. buy making it manditory to use your Full name to register and sign in. Most here don,t have the nerve to speak as they do unless they can hide under a cuttie pie screen name.

Absolutely.

But! Lest everyone forget, the most useless bickering threads are the ones that seem to get the most hits from the same old same olds (the worse of the lot nameless).  So, it seems Oli has a choice: have a highly moderated site which is educational and a nice place for "real" people interested in the breed to come - with less hits, or let the usual suspects keep calling each other names endlessly and rack up those 15 page threads...

I agree with Bob and think if everyone had to use their real first and last names it would get rid of the worst of the trolls once and for all.   I belong to a couple other boards that require the use of real first and last names, and it works just as fine as frogs hairs on those boards. 

The suggestion has been made in the past to require a membership fee, and while I would gladly pay one, Oli has rejected the idea, and stated he wants the board to remain free.

As far as a moderator goes, Oli rejected that on his RETRACTION TO SOCK PUPPET thread.  I would also welcome a moderator.  I think people like Slamdunk (Jim) and/or Bob-O would make excellent moderators.  But that really doesn't matter, because this is Oli's board and if he doesn't want mods we have to respect that.  Maybe all members will finally learn to control themselves and respect Oli and his wishes for what he wants this board to be and conduct themselves accordingly.
