1) Excellent pictures; thanks for sharing; and the link as well. Save-a-Vet is a great organization, and one I am proud to support.

2) Wow, I apparently missed a lot of drama last week.

3) (Seldom get involved in the drama, but... The term "retard" was once considered the social norm as it means "slowed" or "delayed", and no insult was meant by it; the N-word is a derivative from "negro," which is Spanish for "black" and has always been used as a diminutive and a derogative for a specific group of people based soley upon color.)

I dare anyone to go down to Harlem, NYC, start tossing around the N-word, and then try to justify it with "well, it doesn't imply race." Let me know how that goes over, eh?

jc carrol I must disagree with the definitions you have used! True And just as retard was a socially accepted term  so to was N word in it,s day a socially accepted term! N word was at one time  a slang word for negro and was not always derogatory! So are you justifying the use of retard because it was ONCE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE ? mY WHOLE ISSUE IS THE ELITIST PEOPLE HER DO AS THEY WILL AND NOT AS THEY SAY!  sTRANGE THAT YOU HAVE NOT BEEN GANGED UP ON BECAUSE YOU USE NIGGER IN A SENTENCE NOT TO OFFEND BUT TO EXPLAIN A SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES! i DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO HARLEM I LIVE IN CHICAGO AREA !

Raymond, let me help you with the facts near and dear to me (I have an autistic grandson) so I remember how it played out. Bob M. is the one who threw out the term "short bus" and Beetree asked him and others to please not use the term. Beetree did not, I repeat not use it. Others may have used it on that thread but Bob initiated it.

Which I appoligized for and havent used it since... Take a hint guys...

6:30am.........  Steve's favorite staff calls in and says her car is giving her problem and
won't start.   We ask her are you sick, she says, yes I feel pretty bad but I wanted to come in today.

Staff hang up the phone..........And there is a dead silence..........I never forgot little Steve Gimble.
