WDA isnt a viable solution as they are constantly having to prove there worth to there parents the GSDCA with the occasional wondering stunts.

This whole thing will end up a stinking pile of fish.

Yeah, hide and watch...10 years from now, USA will be nothing more than a memory more or less all because of one guy who was a joke in the GSD world in Germany.

No reason to hide, USA will be here in some sort of existence.

As will the heavy show tilted GSDCA with the WDA at it,s feet on occasion screaming "I,m here I,m relevant"

The GSD world in Germany IS the joke!. It,s supposed to be the guardian of the noble breed and look how it has turned out on there watch it barley resembles the "working dog" it was developed to be this on there watch so who is the joke on?

Politics ruins all things dog related (along with the AKC)  as it will ruin this breed and until everyone one says that enough politics and more concern for the dog and the breed it will continue to be a house of cards no matter which country you quote.

 

Believe what you want but it's next to impossible for an organization to continue functioning when they are running off members who have supported them for 25 or 30 years.  If half of the membership fails to renew over the next 12 months, those who are left will have to pay twice as much in dues in order for USA to continue offering the same level of service it does today.  It's simple economics.  Are you prepared to pay twice as much?  When those who aren't leave, are you willing to pay three or four times as much as you do now?  At what point does it become prohibitively expensive?

Everyone I know has been a member of both organizations for a long, long time and most are members of the SV as well.  No one I have talked to in person is planning to renew their USA membership.

Your defense of Johannes to the detriment of the SV is ridiculous but what I'd expect from a novice...

Half ? We will have to see but I think  your counting your ducks before there hatched. We will have to wait and see.

I,ve been in several National  and International organizations with dues much higher then the pittance I pay for USA so If my dues go up so be it. That argument is laughable. I don,t measure my loyalty by my dues but by the enjoyment I get from the organization I belong to(i,m still having a good time). 

One big problem is that some of the "25 30 years people" have forgot this isn,t about them but it,s about all of us! But I bet thet collection of pins looks good on the wall if thats what impresses you?  

Since so many of you and your friends are SV members I,m sure you won,t be staying there long with there repressive requirements that you can,t belong to a competing  organization such as the RSV2000  SO when will they get your resignation?

Novice of that I am sir!. But not willing to hide behind a cuttie screen name to talk about it. 

We will all need to wait and see what seats we are in when the music stops.

Correct, we will but you make it sound as though I am anxiously awaiting this outcome.  I, personally, liked having the freedom to enter my dogs in events from either organization.

You're being intentionally obtuse and are delusional if you think this by-law change has anything to do with you.  This is all about someone's sore vagina and is tantamount to a grocery store refusing to sell you groceries if you have a customer loyalty card from a different store and then claiming that they are trying to protect you because the competing store's prices are too high or produce is not of good quality.

I,m sorry when you mentioned Germany and joke, there are just so many from Germany who are laughable I guess it covers a wide spectrum. 

My friend, I hope the best for both of us. God only knows how this curtain will fall but the show will end at some point and there won,t be a need for masks and secret names to hide behind A good disagreement is nothing to be so ashamed about that you can,t give the argument legitimacy without having the nerve to stand by it.

Very true. And very sad. I think the more experienced members are tired of the game playing. USA's arrogance just isn't playing well. : (  

And I, for one, have to say it is very optomistic to think that club reps always vote the club's will - not their own. Not around here anyway!
