Jim a lot of things you said about your dog sounds just like my boy Nomex " Max " and Enzo ( son ) as well, I would not take anything for either. In a word they are both " Awesome " as well..... BTW your dog is very handsome..

Jim, how old is your dog? I thought I remembered you posting a pic of a pup a few years back. Maybe I have you mistaken for another poster.

Kleinenhain,
I know exactly what you mean.  Thanks for the nice comment on my dog, I think he is good looking as well.

I won't speak for Wanda, but my two boys that are pictured (1/2 brothers to Enzo) show a lot of promise. Both show a ton of prey drive, but balanced.  Bitework is nice, have developed some  "grippy" behaviors in the lighter one. Ari, that I think are due to handler-capping. The darker one, Anik, has beautiful, full grips, always "on," while the lighter one, Ari, is very sensitive to me and has a better "off" switch. I have had two experienced helpers tell me to "put them away" for a while and let them mature. So it will be hard, but I plan to give them until next year before doing more protection.

Both have been started in tending style herding work and show promise. Anik shows great promise in agility, if I can keep him sound:). He has a tendency to take flying leaps off of high objects.
Just super nice, all-around talented young dogs.

we are all so lucky to have not only gorgeous dogs but smart ones to boot:)  Jim, gorgeous boy:)  And I love Kim's Rookie, he is quite a looker:))

I've had GSD's "forever", from differing lines, with the ddr/czech dogs being my fav:)  Masi has been so much fun and has taught me alot , I do find as she is maturing, she is really coming into her 'own'..

Diane I agree Rookie is quite the looker.

I am very pleased with these lines, their all so darn smart and Max is just amazing, he can do most everything I ask him to do and has the most awesome tracking skills. I couldnt ask for a better Search and Rescue dog.
