I'll vote cause it is a dog thing but hoping in return that I will get votes to for the SAR funding that is needed for this town to have a search dog team.i am going to train a dog and handler for them but they need more then 1 and can't afford to contract me all the dogs and time it takes to train etc. I am hoping that the refresh program might help the SAR team and shelter as that is where I will be getting the dogs for it. Just have to make sure I am able to submit the thing in time.

PS One of Remy's daughter's last month helped to nail a murder suspect and also led searchers to the house where a young girl was being held. I'm a proud grandma!

Tig-Voted It is getting closer to the top.I will post it on my FB also and hope that some of my friends will vote. The ability that dogs have to help us is outstanding. I hope that this town can get some dogs for SAR.They were needed the other day when a 4 year old girl wandered off in to the forest up the road from where I lived.It is a mountainous area and has a river(good thing it isn't flowing too strong) and there are many wild animals that could kill a child. A tracking dog would have been helpful.They can help find us if we are lost, detect  anything from cancer to bugs that would save us from the pesticides that cause the cancer. Dogs are amazing.Wouldn't want a world without them.

Lav, thanks for the enthusiasm but if you intend to submit a proposal you need to know the rules are explicit about only voting from one email address. I do appreciate the thought and support tho. I just wish I could clone some of the email addies of the bozo's on this board that one spend 10 minutes promoting something good for the breed but spend hours nay days bitching and moaning about scamming each other.
