How many times have people on this board made the claim they'll take that out of control biting monster off of some overwhelmed newbie's hand? How fun it would be. And Steph can't find any takers for this worthy challenge?
What is it with you badasses, can't or won't "waste" your time? Or what? Yes, I am just waking up on the cranky side.

Not all dogs need to be saved. Especially extremely dog aggressive dogs.

I am trying to hang on, got another 1 yr old coming in this weekend...got in a 1 1/2 yr old female, from a vet that is no longer breeding, thank goodness...The dog I got turned in has Pannus, at 1 1/2 yrs old, what a shame. Told the vet/breeder and she said she had another in the litter too...sire was from the vom Haus Peck line...someone helped me before on that pedigree...Thanks...First she said she would take her back, then she said she couldn't, then she gave me a number of someone that was looking, but I have dealt with them before and they have never showed up....now they haven't called back on this girl either. She is also, dog aggressive... I don't know why people can't train and socialize their puppies...grrrrrrr....
Anyhow, I brought a couple of my dogs out by his kennel today, and he still tried to eat the kennel...when I went in to feed, later, he was actually finally more friendly to me than before...gaining some there...solitare confinement has worked wonders in the past...still is...
Will hold on for awhile longer guys, thanks for all you can do...

Just an FYI. This beautiful sable boy is dead.
No one stepped up and Steph had to put him down in order to make room for more "adoptable" dogs.
She is sick to death over this and pretty fed up with the human race right now. She can't save them all. She knows this but it still hurts when she has to give up on one...especially one as beautiful as this boy who became what he was (dog aggressive) because of someone's ignorance about how to train a dog.
It's a very sad day in Montana.

This is a tragedy. Poor Steph and poor dog. I agree, it is a very sad day.

I would have loved to offer a home for him, to rehab...but I don't have the kennel space, nor do I have the facilities to handle him.
I am so sorry, Steph...
You have a huge heart and this is tragic...Shame on the fools who refuse to do any sort of training and socialization with their dogs, then dump them like this...

Very sorry to hear this news. 
So sorry that Steph had to go through this...I can imagine it is a very hard call to make when you are trying to do the best for them. There is only so much thatcan be done with limited funds and space. ...and help. At least the last days of his life was much better then it would have been if Steph didn't take him in. It is heartbreaking but maybe the next one will be able to find a loving forever home that might not have if Steph didn't make the hard dissision she did.
