misbeeb i have not written abuse about you, these are my views and weather you like it or not i can have them.

Joepublic Dr Helmut Raiser also has similar views.

Max von Stephanitz is still ahead of his time today and it amazes me that what he feared and said about the breed all that time ago and the warnings he gave have fallen on deaf ears and here we are today.

Where have I written abuse about you?

Why don't you READ the threads instead of just making silly comments?  By running our own events, our adult dogs will be required to work as well as meet various health criteria.  We cannot get the KC to make the most basic of health checks mandatory, they are useless to dogdom, indeed, they are worse than useless because of the damage they allow to happen to many breeds.

READ the threads!

missbeeb abuse below dont see the point in it.

QUOTE "You and Simon should get together... wipe your mouth, there's still a little bit of Bullshit around your lips!"

I agree strongly with the health checks in the breed,

When you say work what specifically.

Yes... to Joepublic.  The bit about you and him getting together... well, look at the title of this thread and the contents therein... might have been best if you'd started another thread, with a relevant heading.

Schutzhund, is what will be expected of the adults.

cant see what the fuss is about, every one will have a choice of what show to go to, some will go to all, some will go to breed and wusv shows, and some will just go to general champ shows, now surely having a choice is better than only kc shows where your hands and feet will be tied, it is going to take time to get every thing up and running but the wheels are now in motion so its onwards and upwards for our breed. now to all you people who keep harping on about dogs that were born in the 1920s give me a break bet you dont drive a car from that era, everything advances as has the GSD and it will continue to do so jesus if it was up to people like you we would still believe that the world is flat.

OK Spectator, Simon, Joepublic et all of the same lack of understanding - LISTEN UP, I WILL SAY THIS ONLY ONCE

First Off -  The KC do not own the British Sieger, they may have given permission for us to have one for the past 5yrs but they were ONLY asked out of courtesy, it HAS NEVER BEEN A KC LICENCED EVENT, therefore it CAN & most certainly  WILL continue the same as it always has, except the ONLY difference from this year onwards is that WE WILL NO longer have a need to be seeking KC permission.

Second - What part of the meaning of Hypocracy do you not understand ?  One of the main reasons I voted NOT TO SIGN was simply because I believe Item 9 of the Undertaking to be an unacceptable restriction to my individual rights to a Freedom of Choice!!!  Therefore, rather than (as you have done) argue that those that DO NOT sign should NOT be frequenting CC shows, you should realise that if you fully understand the meaning of Hypocracy it is actually the people that SIGN that believe the KC have a right to restrict us and therefore it is they who (arguably) would not be attending the WUSV Events that are held WITHOUT KC PERMISSION. As presumable they do not agree that we should be holding them without first applying for KC permission, which of course now also means that for KC approval these events would also have to run to the rules & regs specified in their signed copy of the KC Undertaking.

Thirdly - Of course EVERYBODY will be WELCOME to come and ENJOY our LIBERATED , WUSV type Events. We the NONE SIGNATURIES to this KC Undertaking ARE PRECISELY the people who DO BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OF CHOICE. We will continue to EXCERSISE THAT RIGHT FOR AS LONG AS WE PLEASE and of course WE WILL BE MORE THAN PLEASED TO HAVE OTHERS (whether they have signed or not) come to OUR SHOWS , because CHOICE is what we believe ALL should be able to do and is precisely what we are fighting for, thus refusing to be bullied into signing it away.

Fourthly - As someone above rightly said, EVERYBODY IS WELCOME AT OUR SHOWS, the ONLY RESTRICTION will be the Dogs which DO NOT QUALIFY will be those which are UNABLE (for health or character) TO PASS either a BC SURVEY or GERMAN KORUNG.

Hopefully you will now finally understand the correct meaning of hypocracy !!

Regards

I think I understand the meaning and also the correct spelling of hypocrisy Sue B, what I am wondering though is if despite all the chest beating there are still plenty of takers for the KC's challenge certificates and all that signifies, I would imagine once the clubs have signed up the next step will be a new judges list,, so what's it going to be, challenge certificates and KC approved puppies or the breeds advancement.

Spectator says....

what's it going to be, challenge certificates and KC approved puppies or the breeds advancement.

Couldnt put it better,      BREED ADVANCEMENT WITHOUT A DOUBT.

Some members of the GSD Club of Essex are, as I am, disgusted by the comments made against the Clubs that have signed the Undertaking by 'Noddi', 'Opa', 'Misbeeb','joepublic' etc.

GSDC Essex was the first Club to have a haemophilia testing session at our Ch. Show.
We were one of the first Clubs to run a Breed Survey, have hosted several Surveys for other Clubs, and are the only Ch. show that schedules Special Survey Clsses at our Ch Shows. The winners of these classes are able to challenge for the CC so why do they not get better support from those who, like Noddi, purpost to supporting health testing? At our last Ch show in December Dr David Sargan from the AHT was present to take DNA samples from all in the Veteran classes.
All but one of our Committee are members of GSD Welfare and four also hold office in GSD Welfare. We sponsor classes at the British Sieger and I personally give trophies for the Adult Classes for which a Breed Survey is a requirement .

How dare any of you talk against Essex or any other Club that you know nothing about just because we do not share your views? Our members (all GSD owners) were balloted in a correct and proper manner and all but two voted in favour of signing without any influence from ANYONE.
