I just received another Emergency Weather Update for my area .... now it has been revised AGAIN -- from a Winter Storm Warning to a Blizzard !!! I suppose the accumulation will happen overnight because there is not that much on the ground now.

Hate that heartattack snow!!! Get the snowblowers out for that!! (if they work in that kind of snow. Good idea of stocking up on dog food.That is the one thing I did run out of ...glad I was able to get to town to get more.I almost hate to say what the temp is here but I will go ahead and say it.Was just at the park with the dogs and it is in the 50s. Think we might get some rain though.

Nicco say's.........I ain't shoveling nuttin......I'm just gona lay out in it..........A very wet snow now......but will turn to powder as the night time temps drop.......he will go nuts in the AM....he loves the snow.

Maggie, my weather guy says you will have snow....ALL DAY tomorrow! So folks, don't waste your energy shoveling now. How is your stock of batteries? Bottled water? Warm woolies? Schnapps?

I don't like milk or eggs so I never had to fight anyone for them at the market before a storm. Fill the bathtub and some bottles with lots of water for man, beast, and toilets. Make a huge pot of pasta and a few other things you can eat for a few days. Stock in batteries, kero for a space heater and candles, camp-sotve and propane, and hunker down for a few days of "But I love the 4 seasons"

Oh wow, I just went outside -- it is getting windy. Snow - hmmmm, beautiful; fun to play in with my dog; love it for about one day; wish it would disappear the next day.

Losing power would definitely be a bummer. I have only batteries/candles/food. I don't have a fireplace nor propane heater.
