I would imagine that's what 90-95% of UScA members want anyway, simply train and trial their dogs. I wonder what percentage actually go to regional or nationals. For those that don't care about national type trials but just want to compete, then it appears the answer is easy - join AWDF affiliated organization and then one can compete in that organization, UScA and WDA. while UScA loses dues.

i just dont like all the restrictions usca is putting into place. first with judges, now with membership, makes you wonder what will be next.
to all of those that stay usca, i hope you win the battle, if and when you have the option to oppose it. im sure there are others who are better versed in usca history than i,, but i cant think of any bylaws that have been passed and then reversed.
happy training everyone. dont let all the political stuff interfer with training and playing with you dogs.

Annually a USA club turns in a membership list; you ONLY list the USA members.
My club is staying USA; with USA & WDA members & just people wanting to train & have a good time with their dogs. When their dogs are ready for titles then they will have to choose USA-WDA-DVG.
Work to rescind this rule at the 2010 Nationals in Nov. Take your club back.

"Our USA club has USA members & WDA members we also have members with no association to either USA or WDA. They only want to have fun with their dogs.

Good thing for your club that you're posting anonymously, then, because your club's been violating USA's requirements for member clubs for at *least* the past ten-twelve years--'cause USA required ALL club members to be USA members as far back as when I first became aware of the organization and joined it, and that was in 1997.

Those of you who are working for "change" what are you going to do replace the entire executive board? That's what will have to happen remember they all voted for these new rules. Simply replacing one or two will not change the minds of others when it comes time to vote.
For the record since some of you feel the need to attack I have left USA because I believe in freedom to do whatever I want with my dog and my money. I also would NEVER sign such an arbitration agreement. Any organization which attempted to impose these stipulations on me I would leave.

Everyone is so afraid of liability issues that pretty soon that's how they run an organization - purely to limit liability.
What do you call 1000 on the bottom of the ocean?
A damn fine place to start!

Thats fine Phil do what you need to do but please just go do it okay? Since you don,t know me from Adam it,s no worry off my brow. Just as in this post if your leaving and washing your hands of the whole thing why stir the shit if you arent going to try to fix it? thats all these kinds of posts are. This is nothing more then the kids on the block having a spitting contest guys like Lyle,Johannes,Danny ect... They will come and go and it,s the people who work and train there dogs and never stand on the podium who will in the end make it right.
I would not know Lyle if he slapped me with a fish never met him don,t care if I do. So since you don,t know me thats okay to, but i,ve never lied to people just to try to start a pissing match over trial field either.
And yes the breed has been spiraling downward for some time maybe you should talk to the folks that claim 100 years in the german shepherd world other then the S.V. you know the one I think it is the GSDCA if i,m not mistaken.
