Nancy you really put things in perspective, what most of us do with our dogs pales in comparison.  You rock it out, thank you for your service.

Well I have been working toward HRD certification with 2 dogs, one of which should be certified in the spring, the other a little later. Also training toward our sch1 and hope to have a BH and AKC cd by late winter early spring.

April and May: A CDX and RE for Anja and an RN, RA, and RE for Henna.  Anja then continued to work through the summer and fall towards her RAE, she has 5 of 10 legs.  In August both girls got their Canadian RN's and Henna earned 2 legs towards her Canadian CD.  In Sept, Oct and Nov. Henna earned her CD  with scores of 195-1st place, 189-4th place and 196.5-2nd place,  and an extra/insurance 4th leg of 195-1st place.   Henna also earned 2 legs towards her UKC CD.

Now we are concentrating on tracking.  Hopefully 2 TD's in the spring!!

It was a busy year!!  :)  Good thread Charlotte!

We have done very little trialing this year, but lots of training and other activities with the dogs.

GSD:  NAP, NJP (Novice agility titles), 2 legs toward RN title

My other dog (non-GSD):  2 HS (herding) legs

Congratulations to all who earned titles or had good scores.

What's on everyone's agenda for next year?

I have learned to communicate with my Oakley, how to show her what I want her to do.  We have achieved no titles, no heroic acts...But she has become a part of my life after she was thrown away for being blind...
