We moved FOR our dogs........
I can't imagine how life would be without them? since our lives basically revolve around them now?!..
Our lives would be engulfed  in an "emptiness........I don't want to think of it.

To add another twist to this thread..........
Apart from the abandonment issue and vet bills, would you part with your dog if someone offerred you a substantial amount?  I can believe breeders doing it but how about dogs in private ownership?
Just a curious to hear some responds.

For no reason, for no amount of money, would I be parted with my dogs.

My friend in Czech was offered $125000 for a show dog from Chinese guy fromThaiwan. First $45000 and he said NO not for sale and then $125000. He only said what part of "NO" you do not understand.  I do not know about me. Nobody ever offered me so much for my personal dog.  OK if the dog would after I sell him  live across the street fro me and I would know the person well as a dog lover and I could borrow him any time I want. Well............ I would sell him for $125000.00 otherwise forget it!!  OK !?!!!

I put my life on the line for my dogs. There is no amount of money that would get them from me.

Another thread gone to the prevailing winds.

There is something in the air I guess, its too soon for it to be a full moon, and I'm ruling out Madcow.

VomMarischal, me too.  Our dogs are part of the fmaily and you don't abandon family for any reason.

Apartment doesn't allow it?  Find another one you irresponsible, callous twit.

Steve was talking to a woman at the world Morgan horse show here a couple of years ago. She wanted to buy Brago. He told her he had turned down $25,000 for him (which was true). She said, "So how much do you want?", getting out her check book. Again, no amount of money would buy him.  (If any of you guys know about the Morgan horse community you know she had the money to back up her offer)
