Lake Geneva, nice. Anyone want to plan a ladies only trip to the Sugar Shack post-show?

Lake Geneva would be a great venue, except that getting there from airport in Chicago is a good hour to hour and a half drive, and depending on weekend especially in June after schools are out, well could be very interesting to say the least.
the Grand Geneva is a good hotel has two golf courses and other grounds (the old playboy club), also Interlocken not a bad place. There is also a greyhound track in Delavan.

Earlier in this thread, Nia asked how instances of cheating are to be handled by USA.
While no charges have yet been filed with USA, the WDA may be waffling on previous guidelines regarding cheating, this needs a thread of its own.

Can you tell us what you mean by a ringer in San Jose?
by crhuerta on 02 October 2009 - 14:10
Ya know.......after many years in this.......I just recently heard of "ringers"?!
How the hell is that even possible?.......could not believe that such a thing could happen.
Never too old to learn something .........pitty, it could happen.

Robin, Robin, Robin, you have been present , more likely than not, when a ringer was put in. I admit that I cannot be absolutely certain that I saw what I thought I saw at a show/ survey, because all those R & B dogs look alike to me.
But, I definitely saw it happen at the 2002 North American, where a competitor used one sable dog for OB and a different sable one for protection. Unfortunately, the hosting club had prohibited videotaping by attendees, so there was no photographic proof. But, people familiar with the dogs and handler all knew--one dog had a "dead tail."

Ok...now "sometimers" is setting in!...???
I can't remember where the 2002 North American was held?.......I guess I could look thru my boxes of catalogs....?
Sable dog?...why can't I remember?
Mystere....you gotta give me something....pm me if you need to.
This is making me crazy......I can't believe people "switch" dogs! What the F---!
