Yes. Pedophilia is much different than animal cruelty, what a strange comparison. The motivations for both despicable acts are very different. I would say plain old greed was Vicks' motivation. If Philly wants to give him a break and the benefit of doubt, that's their burden. For me, it would take a lot of time to create a new history that deserves trust, but his talent is only valuable within a much shorter time frame.

Its not cultural. All races do it. It legal in Mexico. It started in Ireland. It was brought by Englishman to America. The people in all countries have done it for one reason or another. I did'nt matter weather black, white, spanish, english, whatever. There are different levels to everything that is against the law even drugs, prostitution, gambling ect. So please,lets not pull the race card. There are plenty of high in office people, including caucasion, that can bet on underground illegal fighting or dog fighting or chicken fighting but can stay away enough to not get caught. Takes alot of man power to get a sensible trial. Theres alot we don't know because we are not therenor do we have the resources to know.So, not race as a motive. If we study and see how alot of things were brought here to the USA, we will see race is quite different if we need to point the finger. Every race has it's hand in the destructiveness of illegal acts. Think about it!

Just so you know, I am African American. I did grow up in an area that had theses types of activities. As I've seen it, ALL RACES were involved. Matter of fact, a bust down in florida involved all caucasions and 1 afro amercan and 3 hispanic in attendance. Another bust, all hispanic. Another, all caucasion. Including cock fighting. Can't give credit to a woman that only goes by a number rather than experience. I don't care wether black or white. I just speak from experience not he say, she say or numbers from people that get their numbers from he say, she say. As I said, its not about race, its about the choice any man or woman makes to do or get invloved in those activities.  Mike deserves as much forgiveness as any rapest or murderer that only spent a few years locked up what they did.
