baby eagle, I don't know anything about American property rights - but I am able to read about water rights - and there's nothing "ignorant" in what I wrote. I suggest you read your own laws.
Maggire - I'm not a bit surprised when you tell me which presidents you are proud of. :)

Dueling Headlines
New York Times: “Homeownership Losses Are Greatest Among Minorities, Report Finds”

Wall Street Journal: “Housing Boom Aided Minorities”

Yes, they’re both talking about the same report.

banks were forced to give loans to minorities through programs the started with Carter. Banks who wanted to give loans only to people who were able and most likely to pay them were lobbied by groups like ACORN and sued by lawyers like OBAMA.
Many got no money down, arm loans. No background checks either.
Illegals were not even required to show ID to get a home loan.
Now the people that got these loans and cannot afford them cannot pay for them and are walking....Others are getting bailouts on the backs of people like me, who saved up and bought a home that I could afford for my income level with 20 percent down.
One of the few things that FDR did that was worth a damn was to put safeguards on the banking system. Which required a percentage down to get a loan............thank you politicians for removing these safeguards.........and forcing banks to give loand that they knew would fail
The Bush adminestration tried 21 times to notify the public and to stop this madness, our bias news shows prefered to pick up on Barney Frank saying all is just fine, don't worry.
