Uglydog, I had the pleasure of attending a K9 seminar in Perry Florida earlier this year.  One of my SAR dogs got to strutt his stuff at the begining of their program by doing a HRD demo. It was a Great show, very intertaining from the beginning to the end.  At the end they landed a helicopter on the football field, opened the door and a GSD lunged out, ran down the (pretend) suspect and nailed him.  It was Awesome.

I attended another K9 seminar in Melbourne Florida and there was a 6 month old female dutch shepherd.  What a great pup.  Very obedient, well mannered and a great little HRD dog already.  She was so good, she made some of the older dogs look bad in comparison.

Buckeye you said:  I find carrying my revolver is better it leaves no evidence.

jim anything can be contorted to sound like you want it too.its simple why leave more than a thug.i would shoot only in defense of my family probably not even property

I didn't contort anything.  I just asked why you need to have things so planned out?  So, I guess you plan on shooting some "thug" and running with the hope of not getting caught?  I find your comment about your rights very interesting and wanted you to expand on it.  I like to hear other peoples views on guns and how they would use them, it is enlightening.

I  I have no problem with someone defending themself and protecting their family.  I always carry my gun off duty, everywhere I go, even church.  If someone attempted to rob me and implied they had a gun, but didn't display it I'd take their word for it.  It would be a bad day for them.  However, I have a tremondous amount of training and am also a firearms and defensive tactics instructor for my PD.  I have strong views on gun laws, there are way too many guns on the streets and they are too easy to get.  Most f the recent shootings were by mentally unstable people with no prior criminal history.  Or by a family member that is suffering from depression or other mental illness that goes off the deep end and kills their family or the first responding cops.

I am in favor of more in depth back ground checks for those wishing to own firearms which include criminal and mental health screening.  I am also in favor of stricter gun  laws and sentencing for those committing crimes or illegally carryng firearms.  Do you disagree with that?

Bob, your rig

Are you asking me to "keep it on thread please"? I sincerly hope you are not asking me to do that!! That is like the turd telling the smell it does not like the aroma! Asking about the particulars in how the photo was taken is spot on thread . You posting the photo is like fishing for shark. What do you expect when you chum the water?

Are you asking me to "keep it on thread please"?

Nope, you never went off topic.

I mentioned, heaven forbid, the 'G' word-guns and....collecting guns,  and some people went freako.
