I saw a post from Oli recently that said he was putting up a new editor and it wasn't working quite right yet. If you'll notice the editor buttons have changed some, at least when I use it to post. Sorry I don't remember the thread. I'd rather be outside with my dogs, but it's an ice storm out there today.

Sam,
It is a mess here. It is not snowing very much anymore, but we have about a 50 mph wind and with all the snow from the last day, it is terrible to be outside. I also have huge chunks of ice falling off buildings, so I have to watch myself and the dogs so we don't get killed. Looks like you guys are still in the backwash too from this exiting low pressure system. It is headed to Jaynes' neck of the woods perhaps.

Hodie,
It was still snowing when I got up this morning. Then it changed over to freezing rain around 10:00. We have lots of snow too and now everything's getting iced up from the rain. It's still coming down. No wind, thank God. I went out earlier to check and see if I could possibly exercise my dogs (they are driving me crazy!), but decided against it. Too wet and slick for all of us. I don't want anyone to slip and fall, least of all me! Yes, this storm is quite possibly headed Jayne's way. Maybe she'll tell us if she sees this.

Sam,
Checking radar, it looks like you probably will continue to get some weather for several more hours as the low wraps back around. Stay inside. It is not worth slipping and falling.
Take care.

If you're using Windows Internet Explorer 8 and are having trouble with this site, hit your "compatibility view" button, it really helps!.

Hi y'all,
Well no weather has hit yet. It was actually quite nice today, we spent some good time outdoors. Did y'all get hit?
by Sam1427 on 20 April 2009 - 04:04
Did we ever! It's gone now though. It was beautiful weather today and I spent most of it outside, with dogs. The storm is now in Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, it's a big one, but some areas did seem to get skipped according to weather radar.

Holy cow, all the way from OK to TN???
I live in such a weird place. When the rest of the U.S. is having storms, we're sunny. When the rest of the U.S. is sunny, we're having interstate-closing blizzards. We're the opposite of everyone else. We're the anti-U.S. (I bet that set off some NSA alarms! Silly people... I mean like matter/antimatter. Wait, that prolly doesn't help... LOL)
