Darryl and Hodie, I will never dispute the two of you statistically because you both have strong backgrounds and years of research in these areas. And I know that in the big picture all three of us are about the big picture of the best GS possible. I personally think the highly specialization of man's manipulation is an overall curse. I don't doubt the specific improvements, but i have never found man to be able to "specialize" in moderation. Furthermore, the darker side of genetics that are part of mother nature I always find man trying to eliminate....can't be done!! So I remain an old school type guy that feels very strongly that as long as we breed for the sum of the parts as opposed to trying to create perfect parts and hope to get all perfects in one package, I will continue to be outdated and out of touch with some views. But in the end" A Good German Shepherd" I can recognize everty time, and the fads of different periods I shy away from.
