Thanks Sue. I had seen that and wondered if anyone there could update on the reasons for the DQs. I guess I am not used to seeing so many.

It looks like the DQ's we in Protection. A lot of times it's for a "no out" or "out of control" type stuff.

Seems like a small entry - is it the economy, or your thoughts on why a National event has a small entry? Hopefully the specatorship is numerous enough to support the club's efforts!

Pretty terrain, but definitely not EASY! Some of that grass is pretty tall, which can cause a dogs to track with a high nose, and the droppings & breeze don't help either. I suspect the economy has a lot to do with the lowered entries in many events this year. + the event was held quite early this year (usually 1st weekend May) so a lot of people (like me) can't get dogs ready in time. A lot of places still had blizzards this month.
Life and training was SO much easier in CA...

DQ's:
Isco and Gismo - No Out
Jazzmine - left find blind and didn't return when sent a 2nd time
Otto - ???
Mike Diehl has 99/97/97 - 293 and is leading as I post this. Mike Lorraine (with a 100 pt track) and perhaps a couple of others may still be able to catch Mike D, so it's still not over yet....
