Except it was copper coloured, not calf-scours yellow....

Ah well, it got me from Point A to Point B, between recalls....
recall to install gas tank shield to prevent fire if hit from the rear
recall to prevent gas line separation in event of front end collision
recall for faulty transmission seal
Those are the ones I remember. Might have been a few more....
It survived a winter in Edmonton, and many winters in Toronto.
I drove it all the way across the Praries, from Toronto to Vancouver. Going through the mountains was a blast, though I could have used a bit more horsepower.
I packed it to the roof, and drove it from Toronto to my first real job, an hour north of Edmonton.
Okay, this is for manly, hot cars...I'll shut up, now.
I will refrain from boring you with stories of the VW Beetle, the car I learned to drive in....

Currently the proud owner of a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid V6. Great dog carrier!

You guys have been busy,
I had some things to take care of this evening.
Back now.
Ronnie,
Thats one fine steed there, full winter coat, looks durable, probably outlast the car...LOL
Hey AMC had a couple of hot cars, a couple featured in a James Bond Movie.
Glad you could make it Uglydog,
Dawg! That would catch some eyes for sure.....
Red sable,
Thats a Murcielago, the younger son has expensive tastes but only lint in his pockets..
One of his other favorites is this 03' Saleen,
Dreamings good tho.
Davren,
Besides the Mustang, he does come with a Jeep Cherokee, tho not a wrangler its still a Jeep!
You have a lovely daughter, he's thinking it over.......lol
Actually he saw the thread and asked me what I was up too. I lied......lol, He thinks she's cute.
Damn thats a big picture...
Oh, we're both trying to quit smoking Mum, taxes are making life miserable.
I'm not doing very well and may need to be confined in order to quit...

My wife drove a pinto when I met her, great little cars. never understood why people made fun of them, it ran great and never gave us any problems.
VW's too, great cars, wish I still had one. had a souped up 73' with the dune buggy pipes coming out the back. Was given a ticket once doing seventy on the interstate back when the limit was fifty five.
Sadly the floors rotted from all the salt we put on our roads here.
I need a scanner so bad...
Moons.

Also: look at the list of recalls. It didn't matter if you got hit from the front or the rear in a collision, the car was still at risk of going up in flames!

"Unsafe at Any Speed", as Ralph Nader would say!
