Yes, I am not sure it was that board, and my comment wasn't directed at them. If they elected to not have me, it would have been more likely because they didn't know who I was than that they did. But some forum groups can be very clicky and overlook what it should be about, IMHO... just look at how highschool it can get on this messageboard when everyone from a forum rush in to agree with their friend.

I personally don't get it. Someone (Alte Ahnen) actually sent me a PM.
I'm not a member, I didn't post anything on their site. Perhaps I misunderstood the message.

This is funny.
As I always say, all publicity is good publicity!
Vomdomburgerland is a fun place to snoop if you like train wrecks. It is not exactly all serious dog talk...far from it.
I got kicked off of there a long time ago for being a "provocator" ( I think he meant provocateur) and a "trouble stirrer." Insults from people who don't speak English are always funnier, aren't they? It was all fun and games until some people got pissy. I was sort of invited back, but I refused. Talk about a soap opera! It is practically unmoderated, so it's true that you can sling as much mud as you want (like on here) but if you want to hear anything other than Jacques and his damn "stickattack" (gag me) you need to seek camaraderie elsewhere.
Why not join both boards?
People need to stop thinking they're even important enough to be denied membership, and understand the process, and the pages and pages of spammers who apply every day. Give the people a break. If you can't get through, email the mods. It's really quite simple.
Eaalvarez, Steve is looking into why your app. didn't go through. He emailed me this morning after I asked him about it. Give it a day or so and I'm sure you'll hear something from someone.
DDR SGD...why oh why must I read every single one of your posts THREE times? Can you not refrain from hitting the "submit comment" box more than once? Please and thank you.

I just read two moons and his secret PM from Alte Ahnen. Why do not ask her why she hides behind a PM. I will tell anyone the truth if you want to learn about the czech dogs and East German they are not the people to learn from. There has been conflict with them and vom domburgerland. My guess is they must have been asked to leave and went and started their own group. I have read both forums and believe me no one will learn anything new
oh i remember reading posts by you on leeburg
by Jenni78 on 13 March 2009 - 16:03
I attempt to behave a bit on Leerburg only b/c there are so many newbies that I think I can actually help with a lot of different things (diet, etc.) that I feel it's worth it. The others....not so much. People go there for help, and they get it. . I got kicked off of workingdogforum too, but they won't admit it...I have a word for people like that...starts with a "P" and ends with "ussies." At least Jacques kicked me off publicly. I could not care less if people know I got kicked off. Sometimes people email me and ask where I've been; shall I lie? It's much easier to say I got the boot!
I don't really care what Pam PM'd to Two Moons; why ask her? I don't think she really hides, either. Her screen name is her kennel name...ain't terribly difficult to find out who she is if someone was so inclined.
No one who knows everything is going to learn anything on either forum. But someone who wants to learn could probably learn from either.
It's hardly a secret there were problems b/t the two groups.

My misunderstanding with Alte Ahnen I believe has been resolved.
We'll see.
As forums go, I enjoy this one and have no reason to go elsewhere.
Now for the hyjack!
Do you think the DDR lines are better than any of the other working lines? And why?
Would you strive to keep those lines as a pure strain ?
Or would they be better used to add diversity to the breed as a whole?
Perhaps someone should start a new thread on this topic, because arguing which forum is the best is pointless.
PDB is the best...LOL
Moons.

Sure you have have people say the east german dogs have drive but not at the top level where serious trainers want to be. Let them give you the names of world class winners with pure East blood
by Two Moons on 13 March 2009 - 16:03
Actually I was making a lame attempt to change the subject....LOL
Everyone wants what they want depending on what they do with their dogs, I see this as a problem.
But the again I'm just different.
