T is a great dog and I know its scary anytime we have to put them under. No worries, a little tooth won't keep him down!  We'll be thinking of you guys.

Don't worry, you are in our prayers, he is a strong and health dog. The newer anesthesia used for short dental issues are really nice to work with.

Thanks all!  They are figuring 1.5 hrs to carve that tooth out and re-x-ray to make sure they got all the pieces, then close. I will be freaking out waiting. I hope he feels better tonight than I did when they took my wisdom teeth out!

Any news on " T " ????

The vet hospital was packed yesterday so they didn't get to the surgery till 4pm, then recovery, so we were home late. Apparently things went ok but T wasn't very cooperative about getting blood from him so he has a bruise. No big deal.

He is in quite a bit of pain. He did slurp up the sloppy food (1 cup pulverized dry food + 3 cups hot water per serving) last night and this morning, swallowed his antirobe and Rimadyl fine, but looks at me and moans, and groans when he moves around on his doggy bed next to me. I didn't get much sleep last night.

He's usually very stoic, but I know my boy doesn't feel good. I'll just let him rest quietly today and keep a close eye on him.

thanks for caring,

SS
