Some of you people need to read or even re-read what has been posted before jumping on someone.
Lily wrote the following below and nowhere does she blame Alfons.
I don't know why this dog died but I can tell you something. I have a bitch that is a granddaughter of a prominant dog on the pedigree of 'Alfons'.
I have heard rumours about her grandsire, but cannot get hard evidence to confirm them. I was not surprized to find him on this dogs pedigree. He has been extensively used at stud, and has probably produced thousands of healthy pups, so people will dismiss any worries about him carry serious hereditary illnesses.
She is suggesting it maybe something to do with a grand parent in her pups lines who is also in Alfons lines too.

yes watcher that is what i said how on earth can she blame 1 dog maybe you should heed your own comments

I should heed my own comments now should i.
Maybe if you understood the point that Lily is making.
Her puppy has a neurological problem and she has heard that her pups grandsire could be passing on some of these problems then she read this topic and looked up Alfons' pedigree and guess what the same dog is in this lines to, so, she maybe suggesting that what happened to her pup and Alfons maybe linked in someway to this same dog.
Like you say you can't blame 1 dog and don't think Lily is blaming 1 dog but if that dog kept showing up in pedigrees of dogs with similair problems then there has to be something to it.

Tom and Julie of Astana have no idea of what, or why Alfons died. They were told by telephone "possibly a heart infection" and wanted an autopsy. They were told they would have to arrange this if they wanted one done. I dont know how they will feel about me putting this post on, but I cant hear them maligned when I know how this has affected them.
Now. I know Tom and Julie extremely well - they are very good friends, and I have met Ansgar on several occasions and found him to be very nice too - but come on - surely if the dog lived with Ansgar - as we all know he did - and he died at that age, unexpectedly, and had been used at stud so many times as he has.... most people would have wanted to know exactly why and had an autopsy, not told people in England to arrange it if they wanted one done. Bearing in mind, I believe they were told days after his death..
One could say am I just "taking sides". No - I am listening to the people I have no reason not to trust, and if I wanted to doubt them, then I would look to the fact of WHY Ansgar didnt have an autopsy done, which is what most people are wondering. It would have put an end to speculation and people who have used him needed to know... they might have puppies retained right now that they are feeling worried about keeping....What has gone on between Ansgar and Julie and Tom is no-ones business, but Alfons was every persons business that used him to see why he died at such a young age, and it seems not of something that takes a dog out unexpectedly like torsion or a road traffic accident, where there can be no doubt at all. Wacky has divulged mis information above that was very unkind, to say nothing of not her business - and Julie and Tom have not hit back. Once again, all I can say is that I have seen the emails.
The people that require to know of the cause of death of Alfons should I think be asking Ansgar, Julie and Tom have no idea....he was the keeper and co-owner at the time. I am sure that he was devestated, I saw how he regarded the dog at his training club, but we all have an obligation to the breed and if a dog has been used, and people have paid a fee, then they should not be ignored when they want to feel more comforatable about their breeding. when something occurs like this. I seriously feel that Julie and Tom had the right idea when they asked for an autopsy report. Mo - Mascani

So, the Bridges are giving wrong information to people like Mo (Mascani) and others, if they say, there was no autopsie done and they don't have the result.
Also Julie Bridge was informed on the day, Alfons died. She hang up the phone! That is the truth! By the way. I don't see 1 comment from anybody who used Alfons as stud dog and wants an information on this board. None of these people writing here used Alfons and no one else from the UK (except the Bridges 1 time) used Alfons as stud. The information about Alfons I will giv to the people, who need to know! But I sure will not use a database like this board to publish the reason of Alfons death! And one more thng: It is true, that they took the money for Alfons and never signed over the paper work. They ignored e-mail after e-mail! Now you judge what kind of people they are! To me they are layers and intent to steel 24.000 € from me! I sure can proof that to anybody, if necessary! There was a litter sired by Alfons born in the UK on 29/11/07 bred by 'Wacky' (Jackie Young) out of a Langenbungert bitch. This is the Amberix G Litter which is registered on this Database. Obviously been so upset Ansgar must have forgotten about this. I would like to say how sorry I am that such a lovely dog died at such a young age, but don't want to get into taking sides or being judgemental, it is or should be a private matter between two parties.
Another point I would like to make is that I don't think anonymus people should be allowed to make comments on this site. Be a man (or a woman) and tell us who you are. One that springs to mind is Len but there are many others.
