Naya's mom, I wish I could fix it for you...I'm so sad for you. If you still need a home for a dog, my good friend & GSD breeder EJ has said she will foster/take one for you if you still need...PM me. All our thoughts & prayers are going your way. We would come & pick up. God bless you, jackie harris

Krista, I really understand the circumstances and I almost know how hard it is. I am finally gainfully employed after almost two (2) years of very few ups and many downs; and there were a couple of times I did consider adopting out all of my dogs save for the oldest one. I was once very close to doing just that as it was extremely difficult to buy dog food and care for them, and I spent several weeks being blue about it.
The last two (2) years saw the end of my engineering career with a company where I spent just over a quarter century, a move across states, and no work when I arrived here. Our economy is in serious shambles due to the greed of the mighty and powerful few, but I digress.
I know you love all of your dogs, and you are doing the right thing-the thing that is sometimes the most grievous. On behalf of the group here I wish you and yours all the best, and hope there is a chance that you will all soon be reunited.
My deepest condolences,
Bob-O

I live in Ohio and we had a contracting job to do in Michigan last winter, I hired subs in the area, it was by the old Pontiac Silverdome. I was shocked at how crappy the economy was in that area, I kept in contact with some of the guys and not one of them is doing the job now that they had done for years, (plumbers, electritions, etc). I hear about industry moving out and nothing new coming in. Hope things change in your state soon, lot's of good people up there. Sorry to here about your bad luck, Wish youGood luck in the future......................

Pontiac, Flint, Detroit are all dead. They relied too heavily on the automotive business and we all know how that's been going. I know tool and die makers that were working 70 hour weeks for years and now they're lucky to get 40 and a few measly benefits. Most of them now have to pay for their health insurance.

MI GSD, I recently heard that driving throught Flint is like driving through a war zone. When are we going to stop shoveling billions of dollars a year to Asia and start buying Am made cars (and other products) again? The American public has one demand when making purchases - CHEAP. Keep supporting forgeign made good and none of us will have jobs in another 25 years if it take that long. Wake up, America!!!! WalMart is not the only game in town.

I agree Blitzen! I still go there occasionally but not like I use to. My husband is addicted to the place. Drives me nuts! The sad part is I went to Lowe's to buy some things and they were from China too!!

Naya seems to have gotten a very good home, just what Krista would make sure of. New pictures were added to Naya's gallery of her first day at her new home. It's very nice ot them to continue the tradition of Naya's photo gallery.
