mAYBE SOME ONE CAN START A THREAD ON HOW TO COPYRIGHT A PHOTO AND THE PROS AND CONS OF IT...MAKE A GOOD TOPIC , SINCE THIS ONE WENT SOUTH TO IT....
SOMETIMES WHEN YOU CLICK ON SOME PHOTOS TO COPY THEM IT WONT LET YOU....SOMEONE ON OUR DATABASE HAS ALL OF THEIRS COPYRIGHTED AND WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT , YOU CANNOT COPY IT...
I CLICKED ON TIA , and I was able to copy it...of course i just did it on a blank compose just to see if it would copy...Dont worry , its not going anywhere....did it for my own curiosity.

as to the title post,,I don't keep up on what Pam or her owners do with their dogs..For me, the most important thing is good temperament, good health (which includes health testing) and a sound dog.. And that's what I got.

I agree, there should be a thread on copy right photos. I see many web sites that say they are copyrighted but yet you can right click and copy the picture. This, as you can see, causes problems.
One either needs to contact their webmaster to put a code on the page or put the information on the picture itself or not put the picture on the page at all. I have a code on all my pages so no one can right click and copy without my permission.

Thank you to everyone who has replied as well as all the PM's and e-mails. I have received plenty of feedback and since the thread has gone to the photo's anyway, maybe time to start a new thread about copyrighting. I would like to know how to do that as well. I do my own webpages and would have no idea how it is done.

As for putting a code on on your pictures so they can not be stolen is useless as there are many program out there that let you screen print. the only way is to water mark them

No - copyright means that you are not legally able to copy the photo without the permission of the photographer. It has notthing to do with prevention. Should not cause a problem, as the photos should not be stolen off the site.

NO ONE has STOLEN a photo, that photo iwas given to me freely as i am the owner of the stud and I was not told (by the person who gave it to me) I COULD NOTpass it on. So, like I said before there was no thievery here from anyone's site. Yes you can clam copyright with a no right click.

"Yes you can clam copyright with a no right click."
Could you clarify this? Copyright is held by the person who shot the photo. Not by clicking or putting someone's name on the photo.
If the photo was passed without permission to you, shame on the person who did the passing to you. But, if you were notified of the copyright issue, the correct thing would be to remove it or ask persmission from the photographer.
