Mason:   ;I would give her the puppy back and take the replacement....pup...With a family and what you wanted in your purchse..the breeder has places she can home the pup and has a lot more potential of finding correct home for a pet with a small hip problem....Money doesnt grow on trees , and most families cannot spend the amount of money on hip replacements ,,with a chance it doesnt work.....

This breeder has a contract to replace the pup  ,,but you hve to be patient...breeders dont have pups in their back storeroom holding for replacements and breeding is a costly venue...You have to move pups and put them in proper familiies whether  for sport , show or pet...This breeder can work this out,,,,but you have to be firm with  what you want....tell her you want to take the pup and when can she meet her duty of providing it to you...but send a certified letter,,,very nicely written and keep facts simple and get it in writing...make no threats....but  you need to issue her that you cannot take care of two pups and she needs to help find a proper home for your not so perfect puppy., that you purchased first...it requires communication in writing with  them  /he /she....ask when she can provide you your replacement...she can probably give you a approximate date......I hope for you the best....

I would not give my puppy back, it would only be put to sleep I'd bet. How could you give back something you have grown to love just because it is not perfect? Maybe you could ask for half of the purchase price of your puppy back if you do not want another puppy and you want some money to put towards surgery costs.

AIR trust me,if its that same scum that i talk about she WONT give them ANY money back. She is a SERPENT in disguise. She comes across like this sweet thing UNTIL she has your money.Talk to her X husband and see what he tells you.

Is there any update on this?

Considering that there are multiple complaints, maybe this breeder needs to have a nice "class action" suit filed against her.
