Phillip Rivers is half the QB Tom Brady is. He played Sunday after having surgery on his knee last week. He almost beat the Patriots without two key offensive players. If he can do it, so can Tom Brady. It's not like he is a mobile QB. His movement is limited to inside the pocket anyhow. If he was that injured, don't you think he would have had the flowers and the girl delivered? I don't think he would have been walking the streets of NY if it were too serious.
We'll see if the D can penetrate the O-line and sustain some pressure.
I wonder if this will cause a flood of bets on the NYG and drop the spread a bit.

Well I'm eating crow! Atleast in my first post and the one above, I didn't say it would be a blowout. I thought 28-17 and i got the 17 right. I just didn;'t think NY could hold Brady and the Pats to 14.

DC, apparently neither did any of the patriots! Plaxico was pretty close in his prediction that Tom Brady schrugged off saying I can't believe he's only giving us 17 points. LOL
And yes, Shepherd Woman Eli was awesome. Just hope that this is the Eli that shows up next season!
