I just thought of one that probably no one but me (LOL) would think of..............How about Einar.  The movie, *The Vikings*, from the 50's.  Kirk Douglas played the lead......Einar.  Pronounced.....I.nar....or.....Eye.nar (nar like far).  It's easy to say and kind of nice.......a viking prince.

Emery - for the pup that grates on your personality

Elite - for the pup with prestigious bloodlines

Even - for the pup with balanced drives

Eden - for the pup who makes you blissfully happy

Ecru - for the pup with light beige markings

Edge - for the serious male with a little sharpness to him

Elf - for the spunky runt who runs with the big dogs

Ego - for the aloof and self-absorbed pup

Eider - for the pup with the softest puppy fuzz (think Eider duck)

Eight Ball - for the black pup with a white splotch on his chest

Okay, I have to say it, since you're asking on the (electronic) wire why not E-Dog?  I know it's dumb but I just couldn't pass it up, everything is prefixed with "e" now.

Or E-boy.

Or E-male.

Of course there is the easiest one no one posted......okay, I will do it......hold back the groans....
