Ok Update as of Thanksgiving day   ,,,just got a pm from several who tried to post on the other thread  , it too full,,,have to post on this one.....

as  of this date   $75.00 on the card Walmart

$100.00  Gift Card from  Vrrrrooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

$200.00   plus package for Justin   from the one and only   Man of his words of wisdom and honor....

Private check arrived today  $25,00

Bank total  as of today $235.00

Red Cross only paid half of first month    all the rest is on Shandra , plus her deposit....so thats where your help was so greatful....

Red Cross gave her one time donation of $75.00 for groceries....

She is at work right now   cutting toenails and rebathing her pups....all seems to be ok...she is waiting for feedback on the arrival of the epa later this week...she will post when she can....

She is very apprecitive of all your thoughts and deed of help for her...

As Yellow says, don't take "no " for an answer.  Ask for the store manager, they can add $$ to the card !!!

Yeah Sue,  Its amazing what a little authority gets you , now a days....I get so tired reeducating every cashier and every employee of all the businesses I deal with  ....I retired many years ago , I gave up management and not getting paid for it..Everytime I go to Petsmart , a new cashier doesnt know how to do the exempt book  , so I have to train them, and do it for them or the line would get longer , and longer and madder and madder,,,,,when the manager gets there to put his key in the register to approve it....he says   'Oh , Yellowrose needs to come to work here.....she can keep all of you in line.'...Duh  I think that is His JOB Description....... I ve paid my dues...

Yes YellowRose, thanks for the update, I've been busy and haven't spent much time on here but Therese has been on my mind.  I hope she was able to have a decent Thanksgiving.  Let me know if there's anything else I can do.  I could send a care package but the shipping costs would be prohibitive, I'd rather send some more cash or put $$ on the card.  Sounds to me like she could use the cash though.  It won't be much but I'm sure every little bit helps.

YR, there is nothing more irritating to me that not being able to speak to a real person to help manage one of my accounts. Ever try to find the phone number of your local cable office or bank? And then there are the companies that farm out all their CS functions to companies overseas where you get to talk to people who barely understand or speak English. J.C. Penny is getting to be one of the worst to deal with, I don't shop at WalMart. It's usually hard enough to resolve some of these issues, but impossible when no one understands English so cannot respond to your concerns. I think it's a plot designed to make us shut up and go away . No wonder people here climb on rooftops toting machine guns.
