I wish I could post a video...lol, I don't have the ability to operate photo bucket so that I can post pics! That's why I don't post my dogs.

Just comparing the bite work and not the blind search or secondary work, the dog definitely has more power in the work and the grip than the 1st dog.  He just abuses the front half helper and grips were much more powerful.  The back half was a little different, short grip on the re-attack and the dog was a little jumpy on the approach and ended up in a down position and acted a little funny alongside the helper,,don't know why.

For me I want to see how the dog conducts theirself ONCE they are engaged. Do they try to dominate the helper and to what degree successful or are they just going through a routine albeit everything nice and tidy. Domination is not always tidy, but it is effective when controlled. I am well aware of the necessity for precision, for  maximum points, but when I go to trials I am not as interested in the routine as I am the dog. Others have different priorities and I respect that, but for me its the dog's inner self that I can see, as opposed to the training of the dog. I am not knocking training by any means, but I prioritize different aspects than some....either way a good dog is a good dog....I just try to find the special ones.

Case in point, when a dog looks back to an approaching helper.....definitelt faulty from scoring perspective. But I know from training that some dogs do it from insecurity, others do it from insufficient training, and I have seen dogs that were "beasts" that would do it as a "lure" in hopes the man would move so they could reengage. So when I see that, I have to factor in the body of work of the dog in helping me determine why this occurred. From a breeding point some of the reasons don't bother me at all, but from a training and sport perspective....it is faulty. Its all good depending on your perspective.

For me the difference is Gator makes sport work Fillipe makes protection work, more mistakes (point wise particularly in the guarding) from Fillip but much more DOG power

My husband saw Filliph at the BSP, he was #1 on my list to breed Gana to, until I heard he passed away.  Don't know what happened to him.  Cherokee had some very nice sons, we had one too, who also passed away young....
